"Are you going to the party tonight?" Dave asked me
"Yes. Why are you talking to me?"
"I just want to ask you if you're going or not. Anyways, forget about the party. How are you?"
"I am not supposed to talk to you. I came here to do my homework not to talk to you."
"Come on Coleen, that was so 3 years ago. Why are you acting like you haven't move on? I'm talking to you because I want us to be friends again."
"Dave, you really think that the 3 years ago incident is simple to me?!"
"Coleen, I can explain why I stopped talking to you."
"I don't want to hear it. Plus, that was so 3 years ago. Right?"
I lost my desire to do homework so I went home and started to get ready for the party.
After I got home, I knocked on Cara's door if I could use some help from her.
"What do you need?" Cara said while folding her arms as she opened her door
"Can you help me get ready for the party?"
"You're going to a what?"
"A party."
"Wow, a party. Is this your first time to go to a party?"
"Cara, are you helping me or not?"
"Of course I will." She brought out all of her makeup kits and went to my room
A few minutes later, she finished doing my make up.
"You look great." Cara said looking at me from head to toe
"Thanks."
"You know what Coleen, I am tired of us fighting and all that kind of stuff and can we please be a normal sister to each other again?"
"Of course." I hugged her.
Somebody opened the door and It was Mason.
"Hey, so you're ready?"
"I thought you're going to a party not to a prom."
"Whatever Cara."
"So, were going."
"Yeah."
