"You've been in a coma for almost 20 years. We're trying a new technique. We don't know when or where this message will end up in your dream but we hope we're getting through. Please just wake up." An average seeming guy told me.

He was lightskin, maybe five ten or eleven, hazel golden brown eyes. He had blonde highlights, and a plaid shirt that went along with his hair. He was wearing black joggers and Vans. He looked hipsterish. He looked normal.

I'd expect this from possibly a homeless man, he's most likely out of his mind. I'd expect this from a teenager with his friend holding a camera, looking to joke around or get more YouTube hits. I'd expect this from a guy with a microphone and a camera crew behind him, for one of those moronic comedy shows on TV. A nicely dressed, average looking man? No.

I stared at the man with confusion swimming in my thoughts. I rethink about the previous statement, wondering if I may have heard wrong, but it sounded pretty clear. I realize we've been staring at each other for a good twenty seconds or so. Although it didn't seem to faze him. He just continued to stare back deeply into my eyes.

"I'm sorry, I don't know what you're talking about." His intense stare causes me to back down and glance at the sidewalk. I brush past him but can hear his footsteps following me.

"Look," He says. I stop in my steps and turn around to face him. "I know this is hard to believe but give me a chance to explain." He reaches a hand out and is utterly sincere.

"I'm sorry but I have somewhere to be, a meeting." I've been late once to Mr.Alomine's meetings and I'll make sure it never happens again. I quickly turn on my heel, speed walking to my appointment.

"Lexi, please let me explain!" He calls after me. I jolt to a stop and slowly walk back. I stand close enough for him to be able to hear my whisper.

"How do you know my name?" A threatening tone laces my words.

"Look, I'm from the real world.......You don't even remember me, do you?"

"I'm not even sure I know you at that. Sorry buddy, but I think you got the wrong person."

"Rosianna, just let me explain."

"That's my middle name," I start to get nervous. "only my mom and.....and...." His eyes widen in excitement. "no only my mom calls me by my middle name. How the hell do you know this stuff? Are you stalking me?"

"And me! Only your mom and me call you by your middle name." He stresses. "And I already told you I'm from the real world. Want me to prove it?"

"Prove it? I really do not have the time for this. You know what, take this number, schedule an appointment and then we can sit down and talk, alright?" I hand him the card. He blankly looks at me.

"Alright, fine. If that's what it takes for you to hear me out, fine." He slips it in his back pocket. Before walking off he gives me one last look. I couldn't read it.
