"So, we have the whole store all to ourselves, it's only... hm. Louis, what time is it?" Harry said and glanced over at the shorter boy.
"It's one-thirty in the morning." Louis ansered.
"Perfect. We have the whole store all to ourselves, it's only one-thirty, and the store doesn't open until seven," said Harry as he paced back in forth in one spot for a moment. "Which means, we have six and a half hours to go crazy. Sounds good to me."
"Technically less than that, because we have to find somewhere to hide before the store opens." Louis said and Harry rolled his eyes.
Harry grabbed Louis' hand and started to practically drag him around, occasionally stopping to make sure that Louis was able to keep up.
"Where are you taking me?" Louis asked.
"I'm not sure yet," Harry said as he grabbed a random scarf from a shelf and wrapped it around Louis' neck. "We're just going to run around a while and basically just goof off."
"Oh good god." Louis said and Harry laughed a little and let go before starting to run towards the escalator.
"You know that isn't on right now, right?" Louis said.
Harry turned his head to look at Louis and smirked a little before flipping a switch to turn on the escalator, and Louis sighed a little and walked over to where Harry is. "Are you sure about that, little bit?" Harry said and Louis rolled his eyes. "After you," Harry said and stepped aside to let Louis step onto the escalator first. Louis took a deep breath and stared at the moving escalator for a moment. He couldn't believe he was doing something like this.
"I don't know, Harry. I mean, it shouldn't even be on right now, and we should probably just sit somewhere instead of wreaking havoc." Louis said and Harry gave him a look that made it obvious that he was about to tell him to let loose.
"Let me ask you a question." Harry said and leaned his hand against the side of the escalator, but quickly moved when he started to slip a little. "What is the most rebellious thing you've ever done?"
Louis took a moment to stop and think about that. Had he ever done anything truly rebellious?
"When I was in high school, I was thirty minutes late to class." Louis said and Harry raised his eyebrow a little bit.
"Maybe you do have a rebellious side. Hm. Why were you late for class back then?" Harry asked.
"Well.." Louis said timidly.
"Come on, what was it?" Harry asked and Louis let out a slightly nervous laugh.
"Because I was helping the principal with something." Louis admitted and Harry shook his head a little bit.
"I knew there was no way you were even the slightest bit of a rebel. Well.. alright, come on." Harry said and wrapped his arms around the smaller boy's waist to pick him up, and then set him down on the escalator.
"What are you doing?" Louis asked and turned to face Harry, who had stepped onto the escalator a few seconds after placing Louis onto it.
"I'm just giving you a little boost, that's all." Harry said and smiled a bit at Louis as they started going up.
Not even a full minute after they started going up, the escalator jerked to a sudden stop, causing the two boys to stumble a little. Louis fell forward, landing on top of Harry, who had fallen backwards onto the floor.
"Well, that was a fail." Harry muttered before glancing up at Louis, who's face was just a couple inches away from his own. "Has anyone ever told you thhat your eyes are pretty?" Harry said and Louis' breath hitched for a moment.
