Gallifrey- 2 minutes before the End.
They arrived back at the empty barn.
The Doctor looked at Romana with betrayal burned in his flesh.
"How could you?", he asked.
She pointed up.
Far above them, the sky trenches began to crack, layer after layer being exterminated. The clostiers sounded across all of Gallifrey.
"It's time, Doctor.", Romana declared," Remember Gallifrey as it felt when you were in the FIrst TARDIS."
"No", The Doctor screamed as he realized what she was doing,"No, I'm not going without you. No goodbyes, not ever!"
"There is no way, Doctor. Be practical", Romana urged.
The TARDIS flung it's doors open, urging it's owner to come inside.
The Doctor stood still, staring into her eyes.
"I could never be practical when it came to you.", he said softly. Tears fell from her face.
"Then, let me be the practical one."
She tossed him into the TARDIS. The doors slamed shut.
"NOOOOOO!"
The Doctor ran to the now dead bolted doors. He turned to the console, now taking off as fast as it could.
He activated the Time Anchor switch.
The TARDIS began to type up an equation to undo the Time Anchor as the Doctor fastly began to destory the Mercury cup links.
The two waged war, creating enough energy to destroy a small planet.
1.
The dematerlization sounds began to grind.
2.
The Doctor slammed his fist on the console.
3.
The TARDIS huffed as it tried to build enough energy up.
4.
High up in orbit, The Daleks began to chant.
5.
Romana cried.
6.
The TARDIS had still been on Gallifrey when the end occured. Romana's efforts had been in vain. The Doctor had not escaped.
It was thus a surpsise when The Doctor woke up.
