Chapter 5~ Ice

Hey guys sorry for the delay. It's Christmas break so I've been busy.
(And of course I got sick -_-)
Anyways I'll stop Complaining and get to writing.

After about three hours of awful touring, the group arrived back at the main building.
"That was so boring!" Sam slumped down on the small bench next to the building.
"Yeah, if the campus weren't so huge I probably would have skipped the tour."
Saeran took a seat on the bench adjacent to Sam, Koda sitting close to him. They held hands and laughed at Sam, who was practically hiperventalating.
"You guys are so cute!"
She finally squealed.
Saeran blushed and Koda laughed.
"You have such an adorable laugh."
He put his head on the others shoulder.
"And you have such a beautiful smile."
He said as he leaned over, kissing Saeran's forehead.
This only made him blush more.
"I don't think I had ever blushed before I met you and know I feel like that's all I'm doing!"
All three of them laughed.
Sam shivered.
"God, why's it gotta be so cold!"
"...Because it's winter?" Saeran laughed.
Sam blankly stared at him.
"I'm gonna head back to the dorm, you guys coming?"
Saeran looked at Koda
"What do you want to do?"
"Hm... oh! I have an idea. Sam you can go, me and Saeran are gonna go to the park."
"Oh OK, have fun guys!"
She headed twords the dorm.
"There's a park around here?"
Saeran asked, obviously confused.
"Yeah it's just down the street from here."
They walked to the park, hand in hand, laughing at everything the other had to say.

When they finally arrived at the park it had started to flurry, snow flecked both of their hair.
Koda grabbed Saeran's hand, leading him to the large rink. There was a small booth next to it with a young woman inside.
They approached the booth.
"Hello boys, how may I help you?"
Koda smiled at Saeran
"We would like to rent some ice skates."
"Oh lovely, what sizes?"
"A size 10 for me and a..." he turned to Saeran waiting for an answer. The snow haired male was confused but responded with "um a 12 should fit, I've got big feet." He stared sheepishly at the ground.
"Ok, I'll be right back with your skates."
When she returned she had two pair of ice skates, one pink and one black.
"Sorry the only ones we have in a size 10 are pink, is that ok?"
"Oh, yeah, their perfect!"
The pair grabbed their skates and put them on. Koda stepped in the gate and skated to the middle, beckoning Saeran to follow.
"Um i-i don't really know how to skate." Saeran said nervously, standing by the gate. He was gripping the rail, trying not to fall over.
"It's ok, I'll teach you!"
He smiled and made his way back to the gate. Grabbing Saeran's hand he pulled him onto the ice.
Saeran stumbled, grabbing Koda for support. He laughed and got behind him, putting his hands on Saeran's waist.
"Here I'll hold you up."
They both laughed.
"Ok so the first step is getting used to it. I'll hold you while you learn how to find your balance. Let me know when you think you've got it."
They stood on the ice, Koda holding Saeran and Saeran trying to balance himself.
"O-ok I think I've got the hang on it."
"Alright, I'm gonna let go but I'll be here to catch you just in case."
He let go and moved in front of the snowy haired male.
Saeran wobbled a bit but held himself up.
"Ok now the next step is movement. Have you ever been rollerblading?"
"Um yeah, but it's been a really long time. I'm a little rusty"
"Ok good, it's just like that. Here, skate to me."
He moved about three feet from Saeran, holding his arms out.
"Ok, I can do this."
He took a few small strides, wobbling all over the place, but he did it. Slowly but surely Saeran skated his way over to Koda.
"Great! Now let's do it together, since your getting the hang of it."
They held hands and slowly skated around the rink.
"Your pretty much a natural!" They both laughed "wanna pick up the pace?"
"Hell yeah! This is so much fun!"
They sped up a little, laughing when one or the other stumbled a bit.
"Guess what's next?"
"Umm tricks?"
"Exactly! Show me what you've got!"
"Oh uh OK."
Saeran let go of Koda's hand and headed to the middle.
He slowly turned in a circle, almost falling.
"Um ta-da?"
Koda laughed "OK so your not very good with the tricks. Watch the pro!"
Koda joined him in the middle.
He smiled then started doing figure eights around his partner.
"You make it look so easy!" Saeran laughed, staring at Koda in amazement.
"Well, i've been skating since I was five." Koda smiled and stopped, standing next to Saeran.
"Really, who taught you?"
"Oh um" koda laughed "my mom. We would go out to the the big lake behind our house and she'd give me skating lessons every winter. It was probably the most fun time of the year." He smiled as small tears rimmed his eyes. "She was the most wonderful person I'd ever known."
Saeran smiled and squeezed Koda's hand "she sounds like a wonderful woman."
Koda stared at the ice, the tears now spilling over and running down his cheeks. "She was..."
Saeran looked into Kodas sad, emerald eyes.
"Oh, i-i'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you."
"I-its OK, you didn't know... S-she was the best mom I could ask for, she just left this world to soon."
Saeran pulled Koda flush against himself, hugging him tightly.
"T-thank you, Saeran"
Koda softly cried into Saeran's neck, hugging him as tight as he could.
Lifting his head so their eyes could meet, he said "i-i don't know if it's to early to say this but... I love you Saeran."
"Koda, i-i love you too."
He wiped a tear off of Koda's cheek and smiled.
After a moment of silence, Saeran wiped another tear away and spoke up.
"I'm always here if you wanna talk about it."
"Thank you."
Koda stepped back and wiped his face.
"I-i'm sorry for ruining our date." He stared at the ground, embarrassed.
"Shh it's ok, you didn't ruin it." Saeran smiled and lifted Kodas head "In a weird way I feel like this brought us even closer."
He wrapped his arms around Koda's waist, spinning in a slow circle.

"Thank you, for comforting me. Your the first person I've talked to this about."
He placed his forehead on Saeran's chest and the snowy haired male kissed the top of his head.
Koda raised his head, looking into Saeran's loving blue eyes.
"This is amazing..."
"Yes it is"
They both smiled.
Koda took Saeran's hand and spun him in a circle.
"You're quite the romantic, Koda."
They laughed and resumed skating, Koda showing off his skills and Saeran trying to mimic them.

Hey guys, it's me again. I apologize if this chapter wasn't very good and if I don't update soon. I've got major writer's block but I'll work through it and make sure the next chapter is better. I'll also try and update much sooner.
Oh and I'm sorry if I messed up some of the skating, I've never done it myself so I don't really know how it works.
