chapter 1 the introduction

Rose was sitting in her room 6 days until Christmas she had on her headphones listening to electro swing she was on her phone texting her friend but in between text messages she was reading a book about mythical creatures suddenly around 10:41 she got a text message from an unknown number it said hello she replied back hello as they were talking the person on the other end of the phone said their name was Tyler Rose instantly recognize this name as one of her old friends they talked for around five minutes that's when she noticed Tyler was acting irrational he would stutter in his text messages they would call and he would stutter they try to FaceTime but he was in a dark room lit by nothing but a candle in the back of his room and he kept flinching for some reason she began to get scared and he begged her to not be scared he said don't leave me like all of the others did and that's when Rose hung up the phone she tried blocking his number but after she did she got a text message from a different number it read don't do this Rose she bought that number and a different number texted her and said this is your last shot she hesitated before blocking the number as she expected another number texted her and it read does this seem familiar the rest of the text was her address she got scared and told her parents who called him and said that if you did anything that they would call the police before blocking the number but then the phone turned off and nothing but a video was shown on the phone they waited about 5 minutes before deciding to press the video the video with a image of Tyler he was sitting in his darkroom with Littleton no light and all he said was I'm coming when the video is over her phone went back to normal and there was no trace of the video they tried calling the police but all of the text messages were erased there was no sign of the video 2 days past and realize there's still a little shaken by what happened but she was all around 5 she said her room listening to electro swing and reading her book like she usually does it was around midnight when she saw it on her balcony was a dark figure she could only describe it as forearms long wet looking hair Skin pitch black hair pitch black and no clothing whatsoever she tried looking at his face but she couldn't find anything there she stared at it for around 20 seconds before where its mouth was started creeping a big toothy smile and she saw his left eye open but it wasn't normal it was bright red and in the shape of a star she screamed and that's when the creature busted through the window saying don't be afraid we're here together in a deep grumbly voice that's when her dad kicked in the door with a shotgun with roses brother following close behind with his handgun Rose's dad and the shotgun that the creature and said what the hell are you the creature looked at the Dead opened its wide mouth wider than any human being could and let out a high pitch scream like so loud that the window to the left correct Rose's dad shot it in the chest but it didn't seem that any damage that's when Rose remembered the gun that she always kept under her bed their parents and her lived in a rough neighborhood and she was 17 her brother was 22 they were both old enough to have a gun or so their parents said so she pulled it out and aimed it at the creature the creature hesitated before saying goes don't do this we can be together again that's one rose shot and hit it dead in the eye but skinned off leaving no effect Rose's brother Rushton and using the bayonet on his pistol he slashed the creature down the chest the creature then responded by punching her brother Square in the face and then calling him down the chest sending him flying into a cabinet that's when Rose's mother ran up the stairs and threw holy water at it it had no effect as per usual but that's when the creature got frustrated and threw a chair it missed everyone except roses mom it when it hit her she got blasted back in sent down the stairs the dead Furious shut the creature 3 times before running up and trying to hit it with the butt of his gun the creature only proceeded to snap his shotgun into and calling him down the face and chest before throwing him into the corner shattering the table that was there next the brother that's one rose got up and pistol-whipped him in the neck he seemed to be taken aback by this but little to no effect the creature was about to say something but that's when Rose's brother grabbed it by the top two arms from behind and held it back and said Rose run downstairs she proceeded to do this the creature being angrier than then ever use his two bottom arms Respec and stabs the brother through the the ribs when he lost his grip the monster threw him back onto the balcony AZ Rose ran down the stairs she could hear the screams of her brother she ran out the front door where she saw her mother on the phone with police she couldn't hear much but what you could make out was Monster killed my son and my husband when Rose got to her mother her mother pulled her into a bush that was close to their house the mother whispered to Rose the police should be here shortly around a minute went by when 11 police cars surrounded the house before the SWAT team showed up and of chorus the news as the police started to question the mother and Rose the SWAT team got out a megaphone and yelled it's the police come out with your hands hands up as he was doing this out of the Second Story the monster jumped out the window and landed with a thud everyone seemed disturbed by the siding police and news we're Disturbed by how gross it looked as they were aiming their weapons it appeared its ugly head up and looked through the crowd at Rose and with a deep Grumble eVoice the creature yelled Rose and started running towards her the police and SWAT started shooting at it but again with no effect when there was a car on its way it either flipped it went over it were demolished it Rose ran into the forest of prayed for her life but she did she got lost the creature after around 30 minutes found her and started stalking her it kept Whispering rose rose rose Intel swinging down from the trees and pinning her against a rock and looking her dead in the eye Rose was terrified to move or do anything or say anything so the creature did he said it's me it's me please recognize me interior began to swell up and the creatures are Rose said I'm sorry I don't know who you are the creature then proceeded to take three fingers and dig it into his face ripping the meat from his face under the dark shadow skin was a person it was Tyler Tyler then said please it's me before the skin reattach itself Rose still terrified and didn't know what to say the creature said please we can be together again like we did back in the old days lights begin to peer through the trees and voices could be heard yelling out for Rose it was the police Tyler said please let's be together scared for her life really said okay Tyler smiled and then put his fist into her mouth and as she tried to scream she ended up inhaling him his whole body turn to dust and went inside of her lungs she could feel him inside of her bloodstream inside of her brain and something changed inside of her that's when the police found her.
