Chris sat on Sal's couch as they watched a movie he put on. Her heart was racing as he put his arm around her, holding her close. Since the moment she got inside, the two of them couldn't take their eyes off of each other. She was hoping they would talk a little more but he brought up the idea of putting a movie on and getting comfortable.
"This is nice isn't it?" Sal said breaking the ice.
"Yeah, it is," Chris said. Her eyes never left the television. She rested her head on his shoulder. She didn't know why she did it, but it just came naturally for her to do so. Sal smiled and kissed the top of her head. "Go ahead, get comfortable."
"No, this is fine." Idiot. What are you doing? He's trying to get you to get closer to him. Just get over your fear now and do it! She told herself. If this was how this weekend was going to be, there wasn't going to be much to their relationship, if there ever was going to be one.
"I'm really glad you did come to stay this weekend," Sal said. It was obvious that neither of them were really watching the movie.
"Thank you for inviting me," Chris said looking up at him.
"Alright, I can't do this anymore," Sal said. Chris jumped up, not knowing what he meant. She must've done something wrong. Maybe Dani was right, she needed to stop being scared of getting close with a guy. "Can't...can't do what anymore."
"This. Us sitting here, talking. Acting like we're really interested in this movie. Chris, I don't know about you, but I'm not interested in watching the movie at all."
"You're not?" Well at least there was something they agreed on. Chris kept having scenarios running in her mind about what they would be doing this weekend, the last thing she was thinking about was the movie Sal had on.
"No...I just..." Sal leaned in and kissed Chris deeply. There was a spark in this kiss, unlike the one they had in the park earlier. Without thinking, Chris wrapped her arms around him, kissing him back just as deeply with more passion.
"Wow," Sal said backing away. They were both left breathless.
"Wow...is right," Chris said trying to catch her breath.
"Shall we continue?" He asked.
"Yes," Chris nodded and Sal laid her down gently on the couch as he began to kiss her again. With each touch of his hands, Chris' heart skipped a beat. This was leading to something she never experienced before, but always wanted. His hands went to the bottom of her shirt and she moved her lips away from his. "I'm sorry," she said quietly.
"No, I'm sorry. I'm moving too fast," Sal said getting up and sitting back on the couch.
"No, Sal. It's not you. It's just that..." Chris looked down. This wasn't exactly something she planned on telling Sal this weekend. "It's just, I've never...I..I have had boyfriends before and whatnot but just never..." She could feel her face getting red.
"You've never been with a guy before is what you're trying to tell me."
"No I haven't. And believe me, it's not that I don't want to be with you and do this. I really do. It's just that. Well, I'm scared." Great. Now I probably just ruined any chance I did have with him.
Sal leaned in and kissed her lips gently. "I don't want you to feel pressured to do anything you don't want to do. I have too much respect for you to hurt you."
Chris gently touched his cheek with her hand. "Sal, I want to be with you." It was as if someone or something took over her body and helped her get the words out. She wanted to be with him more than ever. Since the moment she began to watch the show it was a fantasy of her's to be with him, but she never thought it would actually happen.
Getting off the couch, Sal took Chris' hand and brought her to his bedroom.

Chris laid back on his bed as Sal kissed her. "Listen, if you want me to stop, just say the word. I don't want to hurt you or for you to feel uncomfortable."
"No Sal, I want to do this." Chris saw such warmth in Sal's eyes and she knew she made the right decision. She was expecting it to hurt and didn't mean to flinch. "I'm sorry," Sal said kissing her forehead. "Really, I can stop and we can do this another time."
"It's fine...really," she said through her teeth. Taking deep breaths, she knew the pain would go away soon. Sal was being as gentle as he could be and before long, Chris felt no more pain and was enjoying being the closest she and Sal could ever be.
Sal rolled off of her and the two stared at each other as they tried to catch their breaths. Sal brushed Chris' hair away from her face. "Are you alright? I'm really sorry if I hurt you."
"I'm fine Sal," Chris smiled. "In fact, I'm better than fine. That was the best experience I have ever had," she leaned over and kissed him.
Sal reached over and wrapped his arms around her as she rested her head on his chest. There was no question about it, the two of them just took their relationship to the next level and Chris knew he was the man she was meant to be with.
