Chapter seven

My eyes fluttered open to reveal a dark, smokey room with nothing but a burning candle to keep me safe and warm. Failing to remember what happened in the past hour of my life, I yelled for someone to help me. When no one replied, it seemed like I was stuck in the middle of the Sahara desert. Why was I here? How long have I been here for?

I was thirsty and exhausted, peckish even.

There was no way out of this prison... Or so I thought. I tried everything. Bashing the stone walls with all my might. Nothing but four solid barriers surrounded me.

I retreated to the ground, my memory was erased.
