XIX

Next morning

Alden woke up early in the morning and went for a run as usual. After returning back he freshened up and headed down to the dining area hoping to see Bell. Much to his disappointment he couldn't find her. He sulked on the chair and waited for her to come. He texted Ezra so that he could get an insight on Bell.

She was still at Chris', she was feeling better. He sighed and left the house. It was early morning so not many places were open but he went to a specific café.  He walked in and greeted Bell's dad, he ordered a regular Americano with breakfast. Both, Alden and Mr. Ahn chatted a bit about their business. Alden screamed  internally because Mr. Ahn looked happy with him. After eating his breakfast, Alden ordered few drinks and returned to pack house.

He knocked at the door of Ezra's apartment and waited for the beta to open up. Ezra opened the door after a minute or so... He looked up at alpha and grinned.
" A very Good morning to you, my alpha. I'm surprised to see you here. I thought you'd go straight to Chris' apartment."
"You wish..."
" Am I wrong, though?"
" Considering the fact I am here... Yes."

" Whatever, come in."

Alden followed Ezra into his kitchen and sat down on the stool. He placed the the coffee on the table in front of Ezra.
Alden quietly played on his phone waiting for the other to eat his breakfast.
" Alright, don't sit like that... I know you came here for a reason." Ezra spoke
" Yes. I was going to ask Bell out but unfortunately it didn't work out. Also, when I first told you guys that Bell was my mate, Chris was happy and giggly. Now that I am trying to approach her, he doesn't let me." Alden groaned

Ezra chuckled a bit and said, "He is very overprotective. He's like her mother. So, don't mind that little rascal. He is messing with you."

Alden sighed and took a sip of Ezra's coffee.
"I have one more coffee and a chocolate drink let's go and give it to them."

" sure, let me finish my food first. I have to go to dad's office at noon, he needs to hand me some documents. So, we can't stay there for a long time."
" Fine, at least I'll get to see her."

Bell and Chris cuddled together as they watched a new series called Cinderella and Four Knights and ate their breakfast. They ate oats with Nutella.

Chris' phone buzzed, he grabbed it to see text message. It was from Ezra who informed that they were outside his apartment.

He groaned but got up to open the door.
" I swear to god Ez- oh you came along." Chris directed last part at Alden .
" Should I leave?" He questioned.
"Umm, you're already here. Sending you back wouldn't be wise."
All of them went inside and headed to the same room as last night. Bell had the bowl in her hand and spoon in her mouth as her eyes were glued to the TV but her gaze shifted as moving figures came inside.

" Good morning!" She chirped At Ezra
" good morning, cupcake." He replied.

They sat down on the sofa, " How can you guys watch tv shows early in the morning ?" Alden asked

Everybody ignored him and continued with their things.

He sighed...

" What are you guys doing today?" Ezra asked.

" Well, we didn't plan anything... there are enough workers to cover our shift today so we aren't going to work." Chris replied.

" That's great! I'll get free around two o'clock, can we go out then?"
Bell and Chris looked at each other, "Sure!" They replied.

" Can we go to the nail salon?" Chris begged.
" Of course! Anything for my baby boy." Ezra said as he hugged his mate.

" Oh! Here... I for got to give these." Alden handed them the drinks.

" Thank you."

The boys soon left except from Chris. They had some work to do. They'd come later to pick them up.

Bell also left to get ready. Her mom was in the living area of there own apartment. ( read the description below to know about the living arrangements and apartments)

" Good morning, mama! Did you guys enjoy ?"
" Oh honey, yes !! Look at this ring... he gifted it to me. Isn't it pretty?"
Bell walked closer to her and examined the ring.
" yes, mama. It is beautiful!"
" I was so shocked, I even cried when he gave it to me. Honestly, I was not expecting something like this... I'm so happy..." Mrs. Ahn kept looking at the ring.
" Mom can I got out with Chris today?"
" Sure!"
" Thank you!"
Bell quickly went to her room and changed quickly into a sweatshirt and loose jeans. She wore her old superstars and went to her parents room, she sprayed some of her mom's perfume and left.

She met Chris in the hall as both of them were on there way out. They sat on the bench in the garden.

Time quickly flew by.

Just as promised, Ezra called Chris and told him that they were waiting for them in the car.

The duo got in the car and all of them headed to the salon.

Bell was excited, it was her first time getting her nails done. She wasn't sure what to do with them. She was going through Pinterest on Chris's phone just to get an idea for nails.

Alden parked their car in front of a luxurious salon. The interior of the place screamed rich as all of them made their way inside.

The staff greeted them, Alden talked to the lady at the reception about the appointment. Bell and Chris followed the lady to the back of the store while Alden and Ezra waited in the lounge.

" By the way, you guys do whatever you want to get done. I'm paying." Alden said and left the two alone.

They looked at each other and shrugged.

" Well I'm not gonna lie, he is not being that generous because of me... he is so whipped for you." Chris muttered under his breath.
Bell heard him but chose to ignore him but, her face told a different story.

Alden might or might not have succeeded to get her attention and always was in the back of her head.

But she didn't want to make a fool of herself just in case she mistook his kindness for something else.

She sighed, she looked at the pamphlet and the nails colours. She was not the kind of woman who'd choose the most expensive thing on the list but she didn't want stop herself from choosing something she liked because someone else was paying.

I wanted to update earlier but due to the glitch, I couldn't.
