Chapter Eight: All or nothing!

Third person:

Today was that day. Ross is planning to tell y/n how he feels. Fearing rejection and unaware of the truth.
They went to the office like it was a normal day so Ross would feel less pressure. Everyone had fun with recordings. Y/n and Ross participated in a do not laugh. Barney won making everyone laugh with his goat king jokes.
After that everyone was about to head out for lunch. Adam suggested sushi, like always. Before y/n could go like everyone else Ross stopped her.
"H-hey. Y/n can I tell you something real quick?"
"Sure. What is it?"

Ross POV:

Don't back out. Don't back out. Don't back out!
Tell her!
"W-well.. Y/n I... I... Likeyoualot."
I said it really fast. She could hear me the first time so I had to repeat.
"Y/n I like you... Like.. Like you a lot."
There was silence. She wasn't responding. Did she not like me back!? I just messed up our friendship big time didn't I!? Noooooo
"R-ross?"
I looked up to her face to see her completely Red faced. She was mega flustered.
"I......I like you too!"
She sputtered out then proceed to hide her face in her hands.
She likes me? SHE LIKE ME!!!!

I was so happy. So happy that I grab y/n in for a hug. Y/n hugged back after a few seconds.
I loved y/n and she loved me back. I couldn't be happier.

"S-so R-ross... Does this mean we're dating?"

"Yes, but let's make it for official. Y/n. Will you be my girlfriend?"

"yes!"

From there I didn't know what drove me to do it.
I leaned in and kissed her.

I had to make this short and a little rushed more for the fact that I didn't have a very strong idea on how to do this. But fret not! I will make chapter 9 long!
