  He knew it was coming. He felt it coming. It was only a matter of time, but when it happened it took Jeffrey by storm. He knew she was going to explode, he knew it was going to hurt. It didn't, it burned. It made a hole in his chest, and at times he found himself clutching his shirt, bending over, and gasping.

This was not fair. So he sat crying by his bed. Mucus and tears mixing. He leaned, grabbing a tissue.

His eyes grew wide, thinking of the letters underneath his mattress.

He ripped, and tugged, and pulled at the mattress. Snatching the brown paper package.

He felt alive, he felt his sadness might just leave with what these letters had to say.

He was dead wrong.
