Life of an Antisocial bookworm

Chapter 2

I woke up to playing a game of tug of war with the blanket with my sister, you must be confused... Let's take it back to first day of school, this was the day my sister finally found out how it feels to wake me up because you see my mum normally wakes me up on week days but now that school started she wakes me up. After 10 minutes of endless tugs on the blanket from Kina, i finally let go of the blanket but big mistake because may i say i went straight to the north pole, the A.C was on 20 degrees, so you must have guessed the rest. I got up and got in the shower while jamming to That's my girl by Fifth Harmony, i love them; they are goals.
After 20 minutes of a pleasurable hot shower, i got out and picked out my clothes for the day which consisted a black pair of skinny jeans and a plain black top from forever 21; i love that place, their clothes are goals ;) i know some of you agree with me. I packed my lunch and made my way out but before that i kissed my mum on the cheek as though im saying im going, she responded by smiling and she knows it warms my heart so she does it everyday.

I got in the car and greeted my dad and asked him
"What time did you sleep last night?"
"12:30"

I nodded my head, the rest of the car ride was silent but I decided to break the silence so i told my dad about the drama that is currently going on in my class after i told him, i sure can say my dad is amused with my class and like its not even funny. Okay, let me fill you in, so there's this girl called Genna and she has a boyfriend that's really popular and rich so her cousin (Becky) always try's to take the guy away from Genna and the guy obviously also like talks to Becky but let me tell you Becky is a s*** so she like bends down in front of the guy and does things like that and that makes Genna cry because Becky try's taking her cousins boyfriend away from her and I honestly find that low and mean. I wouldn't know all about this drama but i was told by Genna herself as we're friends.

After i was done telling my dad about the drama i looked around to see im in the compound of Saint east high, i got out of the car but before that i waved my dad bye and soon i was at the entrance of my school and I whispered the very same words i did the first day
"I can do this"
As i made my way to my locker another friend of mine came up to me saying
"Hey Gigi, after you leave your bag wanna go get our math papers?"
"Hey Linda, sure!"

Both of us made our way to the staff room but unfortunately the math teacher wasn't there yet, i mean it was understandable because i got to school at 6:45am when actually school started at 7:15am so we just sat on the bench that's across the staff room as all the teachers go to the staff room straight after coming to leave their belongings.

"How were your holidays Gigi?"
"They were good, i just meet up with family friends, went to the lake, read, and went to a road trip, it was just fine.How about yours?"
"That's interesting, mine were good too but i was just at home doing nothing at all"
"Ohh! Well at least you spend time with you house" i said trying to lighten up the mood

She laughed as a response. The teacher came and we got our results and i got a 70% while Linda got a 88% i was gald because i used to suck at math and now I improved. We got to class and the rest of the day was a blur as usual. Finally the bell rang signalling that the day was done, making me look around in confusion but i got up anyway realising it must be the end of the day.

After getting home, i threw my bag on the floor and went to sleep.
~Two peaceful short hours later~
I woke up to feel something correction someone shaking me, it was getting annoying so i fluttered my eyes to find my mum staring at me after a minute she spoke up

"Get ready we're going to badminton"
I muttered a small okay and straightened out my clothes while combind my hair
After getting to the temple (it's where we play badminton with a few family friends) i go beacuse my friends and i are forced to go by our mums.
"Gigi, do you wanna play" my mum asked as no one was here yet
"Yeah"

My mum, dad and i played for about 30 minutes and then i went to greet my parents friends then went on to talking to my friends. My friends and i were in the middle of gossiping about celebrities when our parents called out for us after 2 hours. Getting home wasn't a hassle because the temple wasn't that far away from our house, getting out if the car i ate while watching youtube,after eating i jumped into the shower while jamming to All in my head (flex) by Fifth Harmony. After showering i wore my Pjs

"Dim in the lights, just so that they shouldn't blind us"
I sung off beat while tucking myself under my covers. After calming down, I recited my night prayers and slowly give into darkness
