My brother loves someone.....me

Chapter 4

6 weeks had passed since he left. I tried my hardest to forget him including getting a boyfriend to push my sorrows away.

"Tonight." I said smiling. I hung up the phone and started to get dressed. I went to my wardrobe and decided on a black mini dress and some styelletoe heels. I was going to pin up my hair but I decided to leave out. I picked up my phone and sent a quick text telling Mike that I was ready.

"Over here!" Mike yelled. I looked out unto the empty the parking lot until I spoted the lonely figure waving his hands like crazy. Smiling, I ran over to him and gave him a big hug and kiss. "It's been so long." he said. "I don't think I could live without you for a another day." I gave him another kiss. "Well than." I said. "What are we waiting for?" We both hopped into the car and Mike started to drive. Mike knew about my brother. He knew about him leaving yet I never told him why. Refusing to tell him everytime he asked. "So where are we going?" I asked. Mike said nothing but a smile started to creep up on his face. "Oh no. Not another surprise." I whined. "The last surprise you gave me almost blew my head off." "Well hey. Now you know where fireworks come from." he said with a chuckle. I put my arms over my chest like a two year old and Mike just laughed. He really brang out my inner child. "Trust me." He said. "You'll love it." "Okay. I'm trusting you. But if something goes wrong..... Oh I'm gonna get you." I repiled. He chuckled and countined driving.

We ended up at sushi place called Matsuri. (This place really exist. I had my birthday there. Note the picture on the right.) Mike parked the car and lead me inside. "Wow." I said breathing in the room. It had japanese lanterns hanging everywhere. "A table for two." said Mike. A lady in japanese clothing lead us to our table. "Enjoy your dinner." she said and she walked away. I looked around still checking out the room. My gaze was interupted by a voice. "I told you you would love it." said Mike. I jumped out of my seat and ran over to Mike and sat on his lap and gave him a big hug and a kiss. "I love you." he said into my skin. I closed my eyes and let his peppermint breath fill me. I slowy opened them and looked into Mike's eyes. I smiled but then my smile fell as I noticed another face looking my way........
