Natsu x Reader ~ Fight Me!

  The doors in the Fairy Tail guild swung open as you strolled inside. You held a triumphant smile as you scanned the room trying to find the master to give him the good news. Being an S-class wizard, you decided to take a decade mission. It took a while but you've finally completed it in half the time.

The members who heard about your return began to crowd around you, gawking at how much you've changed during the five years that you were gone. "(y/n) is back!" Many of the members chorused, dancing about as they celebrated your arrival.

"(y/n), is that really you?" Erza asked with wide eyes. She went up to you and hugged you, "It's great to see you, I've missed you so much."

"Oh my, you sure have changed!" Mira commented, smiling.

"I missed you too Erza, and everyone in the guild. Mira, you've changed a lot too." You replied back whilst waving at her. "And it seems like the guild has become bigger huh? There's a lot of new faces around."

"(y/n) fight me!" Natsu shouted excitedly, running towards you to attack. "Fire dragon's-"

Holding out your hand, you yelled out a magic attack interrupting him "(magic type) slicing blade!". Natsu was thrown back against the wall by your attack, creating a large dent on where he crashed. "How's that?" You smirked, remembering the old times where you two would always fight each other in order to see who was stronger. Of course, you usually won however, there were times when you would go easy on him so he could win instead.

It seems that you haven't changed a bit huh, Natsu?

"Hey (y/n), I got you some fish as a welcome back present." Happy flew over to you, holding out a fish that he caught.

Happy hasn't changed too.

"Thanks, but I think you should have it instead." You responded, patting the blue exceed.

"Really?" You nodded your head. "You are as kind as always (y/n). See Lucy, you should be more like her." He turned towards an unfamiliar girl who glared at him in return.

"Hi, I'm (y/n)." You introduced yourself to her, holding out your hand.

She turned towards you and gave you a friendly smile whilst shaking your hand, "I'm Lucy, it's so nice to meet you."

"That was awesome! Let's fight again, (y/n)." Natsu exclaimed, standing up from the rubble and getting on a fighting stance.

"Leave her alone flame brain! Can't you see that (y/n) only just got back so she's gonna be tired." Gray interjected.

"Shut up ice princess!" Natsu retorted.

"What did you say?" Gray growled. Both of them began to fight each other whilst throwing creative insults.

And Gray's and Natsu's relationship is still the same.

You giggled, as you watched the two fight it out. It's good to be back home...

~ Time skip ~

It's been three days since your return. During those days, you've begun getting to know some of the new members like Lucy, Juvia, Wendy, and Gajeel. You've also been catching up with your old friends like Mira and Erza and learning about the adventures that they've been to and all the major events that you've missed out on.

"Wow, you're writing a novel?" You questioned, impressed. You looked over Lucy's shoulder, trying to read what she was writing.

"Yup, but you can't read it yet since it's not finished." Lucy responded, closing her notebook.
