Vultures||A warrior cat Fanfic

Prolouge

"And with this ninth life," The muscular, ginger tabby tom meowed as he gazed down at Kestrelstar, "I give you the power of trust." He gently leaned forward, and pressed his small pink nose lightly onto Kestrelstar's forehead. "Use this power to trust in your warriors, knowing that they will do the right thing to carry on the sake of your clan." He gave a nod, and backed up with other ancient cats.

"Thank you, Lionleap." Kestrelstar gave a curt nod, and backed up. "I promise with all of my heart, that I will protect, and run this clan, with all of my nine lives." She gazed into each and every one of the StarClan cats starry gaze, and turned.

"Wait, Kestrelstar!" A bold meow came from the back of where the StarClan cats were sitting, and Kestrelstar turned her head.

A light gray she-cat with big brown splotches all over her pelt, appeared out from the cats. "With that last life, we need you to dig down, and really trust into all of your warriors of your clan." She meowed, the starry she-cat gazing deep into Kestrelstars amber eyes. "One of your warriors at some point, will turn rogue to go seek out her path in revenge. You will have to trust this cat, no matter what her decisions are." She meowed, the starry she-cat backing up.

Kestrelstars fur lightly stood up on end. "Are you calling SunClan a group full of rogues?" She meowed, keeping her voice calm. The mottled brown and gray she-cat knew she was speaking to an ancient warrior of StarClan, so she kept her tail from lashing disrespectfully.

"No." The she-cats serious meow cut off any other protests from the new leader. "We are just warning you." The StarClan cats tail flicked back and forth as she waited brief moment before meowing, "Now go. The Clan is waiting for their new leader to come."

The group of StarClan cats that had given Kestrelstar all of her nine lives to be the wise, and noble leader she will be, soon vanished into nothing but mist. Pitch blackness fell onto the cat as she awoke from the moon stone, and she soon disappeared out from the cave.
