After that day, I didn’t want to hear everything about Super Junior. And my friends… I decided to avoid them. I didn’t know why but I thought it was nice if I avoid them.

One day, I went to my University, or should I say THEIR University. I graduated, right? I went there to get some of my documents. They said that it will take many hours, so I waited outside, on a bench, that’s the place where I and my friends wasted our spare time. I sang “Hope is a dream that doesn’t sleep.” It’s the song that Kyuhyun oppa and I composed.

Then, a lady heard me and asked me, “I heard that you hate Super Junior a lot. Especially Kyuhyun-ssi, was that true?”

“H-Huh? Y-Yeah! Why? Are you an ELF? Don’t worry, I’m not like the other haters,” I explained.

“No! No! I’m not an ELF,” she refused. “But… why do you hate them? Did they do something wrong to you?” she asked.

I told her the story of Kyuhyun oppa and I. I don’t trust easily, especially strangers.

“So, he always beat you,” she said. “Do you wanna beat him?”

“Him?”

“Kyuhyun-ssi!” she answered.

I slightly laughed and said, “How could I beat him? No one ever tried to manage me because they think that I’m not a good singer. I’d take auditions in different managements and companies but they wouldn’t pick me.”

Then, the lady told me that she’s a manager. And she’s from one of the enemy of SM Entertainment, Starship Entertainment. She said that she wanna manage me. She also said that my voice wasn’t not that bad it’ll improve when I attend singing workshops.

I felt excitement. My hopes and dreams suddenly awoke.

And the next day, my manager introduced me to all the artists in their company. After a week, I started to attend trainings and workshops. I didn’t have enough time to rest because I have lots of scheduled appointments, but I don’t care about it, as long as I had a passion to improve my singing skills. If I’m not mistaken, I attend workshops for about two and a half months.

Until one day, my manager asked, “Can I get a copy of your song? It was titled as ‘Hope is a dream that doesn’t sleep’, right?”

“Yes. Why?”

“If it’s ok with you, could we change some of its tune? Don’t worry we won’t change the lyrics.”

“For what?” I didn’t have any idea on what she‘s talking about.

“You’ll debut next month. And that would be your song,” she answered.

“R-Really?! I’ll debut?!” I was surprised but I felt excited. Finally! I will debut. And I’ll sing the best song I ever sang and heard.

“Yeah! Also we’re worried because if we won’t record and release it immediately, maybe Kyuhyun-ssi would record and release it first. You told us that you wrote it with him so maybe he’ll tell his management to record it,” she explained.

Yeah. She’s right. That could happen. It would be better if we record it immediately so that we can release it first.

Be ready SM Ent and Kyuhyun oppa! I’m already here! The one that will beat you!

The day of releasing rolled around. I was so glad because it has good results. And it seems like the people love me as a new artist. I had live performances. And my song was always on the top 10. It has once been the top.

Then, I had my first ever press conference. I didn’t know but I felt so nervous.

I suddenly remembered Kyuhyun oppa. I think that if he’s with me right now, he’ll hold my hand and tell me not to get nervous. That I can do it!

Aigoo~!! What am I thinking? I don’t need him anymore! He was the first one who broke his promise! He forgot me already! We don’t know each other now! We’re just competitors!

During the presscon, I was so glad because I answered all their questions. It was easier than I thought. Nothing to worry about.

Then, one journalist asked, “What can you say to Cho Kyuhyun-ssi? He said that he’s the original one who wrote the song ‘Hope is a dream that doesn’t sleep.’ He also said that you stole his compositions, was that true?”

I was shocked with that question. I wasn’t prepared for that. I never expected that they will ask me that.

I didn’t know how to answer. But still, I needed to.

“It was really mine! I didn’t steal anything!” I declined.

“She’s right! She’s the one who composed it! Maybe that Kyuhyun-ssi wants to have issues!” my manager answered.

And after that day, th war between the two of us started.

We were always the headline of the news. And as expected, many ELFs got mad at me.

Both sides don’t wanna lose. We said hurtful words to each other such as cat burglar, thief, robber, and so on.

Until one day, a letter came. It says that they will hold a debate. A debate between me and Kyuhyun oppa, infront of many people, infront of the whole Korea.

The day came and we both prepared ourselves for that event.

As I came to the stage, I saw may cameras, many mediamen and journalists from different newspapers.

I looked at Kyuhyun oppa and he looked so determined. He never changed, he still didn’t wanna lose in anything.

Honestly, you couldn’t consider that as a debate. It was just like a press conference ‘cause we’ll just say some statements about the issue.

He was the first one who will give a statement.
