Today is the day me and my dad are moving to the New York...The city that never sleeps.After my mother did a suicide in front of me and dad,we don't even want to stay in that house.
I pack my things and look around my room for one last time.I sigh and look at the ground.I walk out of the room and go to the front door.I get out of the house and to the car.I put the last box in the trunk and get in passenger seat.Dad looks at me and gives me a sad smile.When he's about to say something I stop him.
"Don't waste your breath,i'm fine."I snap and he nods.
He starts driving and I put my earbugs in my ears.I look out of the window,watching the rain.

I feel my dad pat my shoulder and I get my earbug outta my ear.
"Tommy,our new house."He says and points at one 2 or 3 years old story house.It looked some kind of small,but it's a home.
Dad parks the car and we get out.He opens the trunk and we grab our boxes.We walk to the door and dad unlocks it.We walk inside and look around.It was better than I thought.It had a small but smart kitchen,living room,bathroom and a secound floor.I walk up the stairs and see there're a bathroom and two other rooms.I open the brown big door and my mouth drops.

I turn around and I see Dad looking in the room like he's about to throw up.
"Can I paint it black?"I ask and he nods.
"Yes,yes you can.The paint is by the bathroom.I knew you're not going to like it so I bought some paint.Do you need help?"He says and I nod.
I change into some shorts and a tank top and grab the paint and paintbrushes.I give dad a paint brush and we start painting.After two hours the whole room is black.
"Okey,after around five hours the paint will dry."Dad says and I nod.
After the walls are finally dry I grab my boxes and start unpacking.

I smile to myself and grab my guitar.I sit on my bed and start strumming.When I'm done I hear clapping and I see dad smiling and clapping.
"The dinner's ready."He says and I nod.I put my guitar aside and get up
We walk to the kitchen and sit on the table.
We start eating,dad talking while I'm just noding,saying yes or no.
"Don't forget tomorrow is the first day of school,the buss comes at 6am."He says and I nod.
"Okay."I say,looking at my lap.
After diner I walk to my room and lock the door.I walk to my desk and turn my computer on.I get in YouTube and I type 'Skillet-One Day Too Late'.The song starts playing and I press the 'autoplay' button.I put my phone on the charger and lay on my bed.I get under the covers and fall asleep.
