I have a secret. I can't tell anybody my secret or else I will have the worry of more people finding out, or, get sent back to the underworld.
It was a typical Thursday morning at school. I opened my locker but I felt someone watching me. I turned around and saw Toby. He looked away as soon as I stared at him. Thats strange I thought. He can't know about my secret can he? I panicked in my mind. "Hey Jess, can I talk to you after school?" Toby said. "S-sure" I replied. He nodded and went to first period. I wonder what he wants... I thought.
I shrugged and walked upstairs to my first period class- science. Mrs. Bred was a boring teacher so I had time to think about what just happened. It was the end of the day, and I was FREAKING out. I had a shit ton of anxiety and I just wanted to get over with whatever he has to say. I went to Toby's locker and I saw him. He walked up to me, pulled me down the hallway to the janitors closet, and locked the door.
"What the HELL are you doing?!?!" I shouted. "SHHHH do you want us to get caught?" He said after he smacked his hand over my mouth to keep me quiet. "Anyway..." he continued "I know what you are" he stated. He must have saw me freak out because he immedietly said "But dont worry, I wont tell anyone let alone king Geoff." He explained. How does he know about king Geoff and that I'm immortal? I thought. "My cousin was a vampire, too." He smirked. "Shit, I guess I said that outloud" I replied. He nodded and spoke, "Tara died while trying to become a human again, how? King Geoff. And I know you want to be a human again but king Geoff wouldnt like that at all" I do want to be human again and I will need a mortals help i guess I thought. "Did Tara tell you I was a vampire?" I questioned. He nodded. "You two used to be best friends! Anyway, I have a plan. We need to travel to the underworld where the king lives, and kill him. How? I'm not sure. After we kill him you could be queen of vampires!!" He babbled. "To kill a vampire just put a stake in their heart. But, king Geoff isn't a normal vampire. He will need a lot of power to kill. And how do you expect us to travel to the underworld?" I spoke. "erm, vampires can wish to see the king with an important question. So basically ask him about being a vampire and he will send someone to get you to travel down there," He said. "Now how are you going to get down there- with weapons!" I questioned. "psh- find a potion to make me shrink. My dad owns a weapon shop so i can get guns, knifes, any weapon!" He exclaimed. "My mother is a wicken.... so I guess that could work." I said, "Greet so its settled we need to train for battle and my father won't care so we can stay at his house" he explained. "Greet talk to you later" I waved. I unlocked the door and went home. What did i get myself into I thought.
