CHAPTER TWO
I woke up to my alarm clock and groaned. It was 6:30 and I had to be at school by 7:15 so I rushed to straighten my hair, put on a t-shirt, some black skinnies and put on makeup. By the time I was done it was around 7:10. "shit" i mumbled as I raced to my car and drove to school.
When I got to shool Toby was by my locker trying to unlock it. "What are you doing?" I asked annoyed. "Just trying to open your locker" he replied. "Why?" I questioned. "Because I -I-I..." he stuttered. "Doesnet matter. move." I said as I shoved him aside and opened my locker. "Why are you here anyway? Your locker is upstairs." I asked, facing him. "Well I wanted to get to know you better since we're going to battle a vampire king and travel down to the underworld... AKA HELL!! So I'd thought I'd stay here so I could talk to you" He replied. I simply stared at him and walked to home room leaving him in the hallway.
School was boring, like always and I sat with my friends at lunch. We were justtalking about random things until I saw Toby glancing over to me. He did this so very often and I felt insecure and anxious to go home. I eventually finished last period. Finally I whispered to my self, as the bell rang.
At the end of the day I walked down the hallway to go to my locker and again- saw Toby. "Go away" I said, jokingly. "Nada chance!" He replied his his beautiful smirk. what-no-no-no i can't be falling in love with him! hes a mortal ! I said in my mind. As we were just talking my friends Kaitey and Lexi (Twins) came up to us. "OOOHHH you with your BOYFRIEND?" Kaitey jokingly asked. "ugh no." I replied. "maybe we are, maybe we arent." he remarked. I blushed and looked down. "So anyway Jess,are you still coming over our house today?" Lexi asked. "Yeah sure, why?" I questioned. "We have to ask you about things..: They both said simultaneously. "oh" was all i could say, Here comes the anxiety I thought. "plus its the weekend so you can sleep over!" Kaitey said. "Ohhhh girl talk?" Toby smirked. "You can come if you'd like.. i mean we can sense that you know." Lexi said. After she said that, Toby's eyes bulged out of his head. "Oh yeah Lexi and Kaitey are vampires aslo, and we've been trying to find a way to become mortals together. So if you come the better" I explained to him. "So it's settled?" Toby asked. "Agreed" me, lexi and kaitey said. I waved them goodbye and drove home and then took a shower, and put on pyjamas before driving over to the twins apartment. I cant wait to see what happens now I thought, sarcasticly.
