Let me introduce myself, I'm well Nerissa Rivenhold, but sometimes I'm nicknamed Ness.

I'm just a woman, black hair that flows like the dark depths of the sea covering my mermaid shoulders, blue eyes like puddles. My skin as white as ice, my cheeks as rosy as wine, rosé infact. Dimples pierce my cheeks like icicles. Purple lips that I just can't ever exclude from myself, I love my purple gloss and other than the look it helps my lips stay healthy. I'm a girl with a height of 5'7" and an average weight I'd say, petite but curvy too.  I love being myself but I can't. Not completely.

A human? Yes, well kind of. I'm a species of water people you see. There are 6 different tribes ours being water, the 5 remaining being the fire tribe, the air tribe, the earth tribe, the ice tribe and well the star tribe. I know perfectly well that these aren't the average tribes, but my world has never been normal and I won't let it be normal now. We are all over the world, split up.

Seen as a perfect person, what are we supposed to look like? But we are not perfect.

I lived in London, yes not a strange fairy tale place, just busy London.

Looking across the room to the TV I was totally fascinated by Spongebob, he made me laugh and I've just always wanted to try one of those Krabby Patties. Delish! But, I had my own scrumptious snack to eat, waffles. The scent of those waffles with some honey would go down an absolute treat and wasn't long from being consumed.

I looked out of the window to see the white flakes iced upon my window ledge, lightly powdering the trees like sugar coating a donut and the water turned to ice.

With a knock at the door I knew Alethea was here. As I opened I saw, as usual, how her flawless locks of blonde hair curled and twisted in many directions, she too had blue eyes but they were much brighter. Standing at the same height as me we were pretty much similar. Freckles placed very elegantly across her cheeks and nose, as if from when we were just five years of age those freckles knew she would be an elegant ballet teacher in her free time.

And today was just a girly day. Girly day with Alethea, Alethea Gabriele.

Allie knew what I was and accepted me, few people that actually know what I am. I liked keeping private things, private. If something was no one elses business they had no reason to know. She was one of the few people that was always there, through everything. Other than Heath but that's just a different story for now.

"Hello Sugartits," she smirked, it seems to be of deep joy to call me such a thing. I never worked her out but I always enjoyed her company, she was fun to be around and I always had a smile on my face around her. It made a change from the boring non-talkative shit heap they call college. The only conversation there is tends to be from a teacher, fun times.

Yes I try to be normal and live an everyday life.

" Hello Bimbo," we both chuckled, one of those stereotypical names that always stuck with those dumb blonde girls.

"How are you this fine morning?"

"I guess I'm fine, how about you?"

" I'm extremely good. You'll never guess what happened to me!" She obviously wasn't going to wait for me to say something so I reassured I was listening to her by giving her the look. " Well Jason invited me back to his place the other day, and um well, we got freaky." And she just had to back that up with the most obvious of hip movements.

I couldn't help but laugh at her enthusiasm. Jason Astrom, was one of the guys from college. What a surprise. Tall-ish, blonde with quite short hair and medium build, his tops always hugged tightly around his stomach and biceps and he had clear blue sky eyes you could just look right into. I've got to admit I wouldn't mind a piece of that myself.
