Hideout

Mom's and dad's hideout was dirty but cleaning it would be worth it, so everyday after doing my chores i would go out the hideout and fix it up to where i could go to be by my self. when i got there this time i had stared to clean the inside first then go to the outside. about 4 hours of cleaning i was done with the floors , shelves, kitchen, living room, and the bed. the whole inside was clean and now was time for the outside , when i got out there i saw it was almost dark so went inside blew all the lights and stared to grandmas house.
" Shelby, your dirty go take a bath , dinner would be ready in a bit " she told as went to take bath
" i'm so tired from all that cleaning i forgot to track of time " i said to myself as i got ready for a bath. when i was done i went to eat what grandmother had lad out for us in the middle of eating we hear our door open and in comes Garrett .
" Shelly can i have Shelby's help with something?"
" yes you may don't worry Shelby your food won't go any where"
" i hope not." i say as i get up and Garrett pulls to Timmy's house the little i met in the woods his name was Timmy. when we got inside i saw the boys running around until i hear a woman scream
" has she gave birth yet?" and yes their mother was with child
" no , Shelby she called for you if can please do so"
" I'll try" i tell them and go inside i took a deep breath to claim myself and went over to help the nurses as they told me what to do. it was in the middle of the night when she gave birth to 1 girl and 1 boy. when her husband came in to see his new born kids he was happy and kissing his wife and baby's .all help i was wanted was over i was so tired now i almost couldn't walk out on my own but i stopped at the door and gave them each a wave i then got Garrett to stand up and help to my grandmothers house.
" so did it go "
" 1 girl and 1 boy both heathy but i sure Stella put all of her stress on me " i chuckled
" good to hear that people trust you around here that's a good sign" he told me as he got my waist in his hand to help out .
" hey if you want i can teach how to shoot a bow" he said i looked at him then i remember talking about with him time show off i guess
" sure come by the house later on after i am done with my chores" i tell him and he smiles when we get to the house grandma opens the door and looks worried "not my bleed, it's Stella's she had 1 girl and 1 boy born" i tell her as i walk on my own up stairs to take anther bath. when i was done and dress i got in bed and fell asleep to hear my mom sing to me, tell me story, tell me how happy she was of me for help people. that morning when i woke i was happy to see that i was not sleepy anymore and that it was going to be a good day. i got all the cloths in to a basket to get them washed then i remember that Garrett wanted to teach me how to shoot a bow. today was going to be fun because after all i do have my mom dairy i wonder what else i can find.
" Shelby your going to do the wash this time?"
" yes grandma i am , do you need any you make a list i will be by to pick it up and grandma have the day off i will do everything this time" i tell her has leave to go down to the river to do the laundry when i felt a tap on my shoulder i turn around to see Seth
"hey Shelby i was wondering around looking for the princess, have you seen her today" when said that my heart sunk do in to my stomach dose he know that my dad is a Daedric king
" no have not seen no princess and trust me she would not like you" i tell and walk off when i hear running after me " leave me alone Seth i got no time for games "
" your my princess baby ,"
" what the hell did you just say Seth " right then Garrett came over and saw that i was have a problem with Seth
" hey Shelby is there a problem"
" Garrett if i want this girl i will damn straight have her you hear me " Seth says as he grabs my arm Garrett then punched him in the cheek and i pulled my arm away and hide behind Garrett that's when a fight came on when Seth tried to hit Garrett , he docked then knocked Seth out if one more punch and Garrett came over to me and made sure i was okay before he put an arm around me and walked over to the river with him.
" if ever touches you again you let me know I'll knock some brains into him" he says as he chuckles and pulls me into a huge. why is he so carrying towards me, what did dad call it , man i wish i remember .
"okay " i say has i huge him back then let go to do some laundry while he stayed in the shade sharping his arrows. when i was done i whipped sweat off my forehead from the hard work of cleaning cloths.
" i weather is perfect to shoot a bow" he says that's when i noticed how close he was to me. i can feel his cool breath tickle my ear i can feel how close we are when his chest is pushed to back. turn to him with a blush on my face .
" i bet i'm better then you " i say as i stood up and it takes him a second to get up
" now this is no game that is to mess around with" he says as he gives me the bow before he could tell me what to do i shoot in apple out of the tree
" its not my first time to pick up a bow Garrett" i tell him as i poked him with the bow which he took back and took aim that when i saw how handsome he really is and i had to stop myself to jump on him.
" bet i can get two apples on one arrow"
" Garrett you can't do that "
"yes i can "
" no you can't" i say as let go oh the arrow and it went threw 3 apples i stood there shocked
" told ya"
" but you said 2 not 3" i say as he just giggles at the look on my face that's it i tackle him and we roll down the hill and he lands on top of me
" now why did you do that " he chuckled
"what i thought we were having fun" i laughed with a fake pout on my face as i looked away form him that's when i see Frank coming over to us as we stood up and grabbed Garrett by the arm pulled him about 10 feet away from me and whispered him something and when they where Garrett went from happy to serious face and it scared me a little
" the woods are no longer safe any more please go get your stuff we are heading back into town "
" okay" was all i said until we got to town where my grandmother came over to me and in the middle of the town there was guard's and they were all around near a stage that's when a man called out
"a message from the king say that all able bodies of men and Knight's most come to the castle to train cause war is upon us if we like it or not . please under stand that we are teaming up with our enemy's to fight a bigger one" he called out and you could hear gaps that's when he said "we are fighting against a Daedric king" my heart stopped my dad started a war. after he was done everyone was talking while i stood there shocked until i felt arms wrapped around that where my grandmothers
"you need to talk to your dad about this " she says in a whisper as i nod and run back to the house to write to my dad and have an imp give it to my dad.

-3weeks later-

i have grown close to Garrett , we hangout at every chance we get and i even shown him where my mom and dad used to run off to. we have ran off there before it was fun yet kinda scary cause we don't want the guards to find us in our hideout now. Right now we are sitting in the swing with him holding me in his arms, no we are not girlfriend or boyfriend just close friends.
"Shelby how long have you been here?"
"almost 2 months now " i tell him as we watch the land below i love it here
" I want you to keep an opened mind when i tell you okay" he says to
"when do i not have in open mind Garrett"
" your right," he chuckles as we sit up and i look at him in the eyes "Shelby , I...I...I love you" he tells me and i can see he really dose
" I love you too" he didn't wait he kissed me in a soft, loving, heart filled kiss and i didn't wait to kiss him back when we broke he put his forehead on mine and rubbed my back as i leaned in to his chest as we sway there in the moment it felt like it can last forever but i knew it won't . after that night in my dreams my mom was angry, she yelled, cursed , and even tried to hit me when i woke up that morning i cried it all out. when i went go find Garrett he was not home or at the hideout i didn't need to worry, but he's been gone for 4 months now . so morning after all the cry and fits was done i got dressed and went down stairs to see grandmother crying at the table when i went to her she pulled me into a huge.
" Shelby, i am getting to old for this war i hope you know that " she told me as i sat on the ground before
" i know and i am too young to face it alone grandma, why else would dad have sent me here to watch out for you and for me to be safe grandma i'm scared to its something we have to face, together" i tell her as i look into her eyes
" your mother would be so proud of you dear" yeah no she's not why else would she yell at i did nothing to her.
" i am going to do my chores okay, i be back " i tell her as i got the basket and walked out to see a man in front of the house he was the same height as Garrett, he also had deep green eyes, but he has golden armor and a black hood that had a mask to go with it.
" mis where are you going?" his voice was deep i have to remember that
" I'm going to go do work why are you asking" i tell him as i moved around him and he fallowed
" cause i am a knight of the Royal hand " he tells me has i smirk
" okay if your a knight , you sure don't look like one " i tell him as we entered the woods.
" because i wont to be some one else knight in shining armor" he says and i don't even look at him
