"If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God whom we serve is able to save us. He will rescue us from your power, Your Majesty. But even if he doesn't, we want to make it clear to you, You Majesty, that we will never serve your gods or worship the gold statue you have set up." (NLT) ( Daniel 3:17-18
A lot of times we have our faith backwards. If God does XYZ, then I will believe. But these men had a powerful faith. Even if God didn't save them from death, they still stood their ground. Why must we have conditions met before we will stick our neck out for God? It comes down to trust. Will you still trust in God even if it appears God didn't come thru?

The question..
WILL YOU STILL FOLLOW GOD EVEN IF THINGS TURN OUT NOT THE WAY WE WANT IT?
Will you?
Whenever we are in a bad situation, a question keeps on popping up in our heads...
WHY?
Why Lord? Why is this happening to me?
WHY ME?
Oh yeah, why not? (me saying sarcastically)
Who are we to question God's motives? We are just his mere creation and yet we complain like brats. Most of the time I am guilty of that esp when I'm going thru real tough times. SHAME ON ME! huhuhuhuhuhu!
Trials are inevitable. God allows it. Why?
SO WE CAN GROW UP! Be matured emotionally and spiritually. We have to bear in mind that things happens with a purpose. God allows us to suffer, to experience lose, to be hurt, to grieve. So after we've experinced these things, we can stand up once again and be a better and stronger person.
God is moulding us to the person that we are destined to be. A vase will not be as beautiful if it is not moulded properly. It should be crushed, stumbled then moulded. If we want to be that kind then let us allow God to mould us with trust and faith in our hearts. Knowing that God is in control and He knows what's he's doing.
If we think that the situation is too much for us, then be reminded that God will not send us trials that we cannot handle!
