Soon we were speeding down the highway trying to get Cadenza back home.
I made a turn into her neighborhood and drove all the way down to her house. I parked on the street in front of her house and opened my door and ran around and we both got out.
I took her hand in mine and ran to her front door.
I opened it and she ran in.
"Garroth..." She started to say.
"Thank you so much. For everything..."
"You're welcome Cadenza. I had a good time, even with what happened at the party." I told her.
"So did I! It was fun with you."
With you? Did that mean what I think it means?
My thoughts were interrupted by her pressing her lips against mine...
Yes, I guess it does mean what I think it means...
