I walked with Cadenza down the stairs and to my car. I quickly told Laurence that Cadenza wasn't feeling well and I was taking her home.

She didn't say a word the whole car ride back to my house. I took her there because if her parents saw her like this they would kill me.
We was leaning her head against the window of my car, trying to hold back tears that she thought I couldn't see.
"Please, Tell me whats wrong Cadenza."

"My first party and this happens... Twenty minutes in.." She said.

"What did they do to you?" I asked again.

"They ma-- they made me drink... Alcohol... They were all smoking also... It was disgusting!"

I put my hand on her shoulder to comfort her as I pulled into the parking lot of my apartment building.
We both got out of the car and went in.
We walked down to the elevator and clicked the button.
She kept trying to hold back her tears but she finally had enough. She burst out crying hysterically. She ran and buried her face in my chest and grabbed on to my shirt like she had no plan of letting go anytime soon.
I wrapped my arms around her, embracing her in a hug.
At the same time, we took a few steps to the side into the elevator. I reached out and clicked the button to take us to the fourth floor.
We walked slowly to my apartment when the elevator doors opened.
Then we stopped at my door.
"Im so so Garroth..." She said, hanging her head down in shame.
"Cadenza you have nothing to be sorry for. What they did was wrong."
She didnt respond. She just looked up at me, wiping the makeup from under her eyes that was smeared from her tears.
I held her close as she cried into my chest. Then I did what I thought I would never do...

I kissed her.
