Chapter 2

The Party

Rania came and got me ten minutes later. I rushed out of the house not even telling my parents where I was going. They’ll get over it, plus I’m too pissed to even talk to them. Opening the passenger door to Rania’s car I hopped in and slammed the door not caring.

“Ay’ watch it this is my baby you might break her!” Rania exclaimed with a huge smile on her face.

Rania loved her car she’s like a guy when it comes to it. She literally has rules. No food, no drinks, and no muddy shoes in her car, period!               If she catches you with any of that stuff you’re a dead man or women. So I keep on her good side when it comes to her car.

“Awe Rania I’m sorry.” I said trying not to laugh.

“It’s alright chica, my babies strong!” She said while stroking her dashboard.

The car ride got silent after our fit of laughter. It takes about fifteen minutes to get to Tim’s house from mine and it was the longest fifteen minutes of my life. I can’t wait to just forget this day. I can deal with it tomorrow.

We finally pulled up to Tim’s house. Let me tell you, his house is huge! Like three times the size of mine and my house is pretty big!

I jumped out of the car not even letting Rania park first and sped walk to the door. As I entered the sound of blasting music hit my ears and the smell of alcohol filled my nostrils. Oh how I’ve missed partying. I took off to find the kitchen in this monstrous house so I could get a drink or a couple of shots at least.

I finally found the kitchen. It took me forever, I only got lost five times, walked in on two couples making out twice, and a Joseph Holloway taking a crap in the bathroom. That last one was very gross! I will never be able to look at him the same again!

It was cramped in the kitchen apparently I walked in when everyone else was getting a refill. Just my luck! Squeezing through people I grabbed the first thing my hands could grab and downed half the bottle. I gagged instantly. Tequila, I should’ve looked before drinking! Oh well I wanted to get drunk I guess that’s one way to do it!

I walked out of the kitchen with my tequila in hand, not gulping this time, just taking regular sips. I caught up with Rania on the dance floor as Katy Perry’s Last Friday Night started playing.  Rania and I have some good memories with this song! A lot of Fridays, just us having a blast before any of this crap about marriage.
