You're tired, and nothing is helping you stay awake.

You've tried everything, the pills, the drugs, hypnotism, no electronics. Nothing is helping you see clearly enough for one single second, and it's beginning to hurt.

You go to school everyday and your friends ask you why you are so slow and melancholy and why you aren't laughing at any of their dumb jokes.

You shrug and smile and just tell them you're not feeling great, but you'll be better tomorrow. But you're never better and they are starting to drift away, talking in tongues you don't fucking understand.

You hate how tired and achy you feel all the time. All you do is sleep and miss meals, and the bones in your chest are starting to show and your parents are getting worried. Your little sister asks you why you never smile anymore.

Nothing is wrong, you're just tired. Of what? You don't know.
