One week later and I'm in my 2nd period science class. We're working on a science project for how blood is pumped into the cells of the body and yada yada yada. It's the second day of working on the project and my partner is my best friend Chance. We're both working when I realize my leg was pressed up against his.

And I only realized that because he moved his leg away from me.

At that moment I crossed my legs and started feeling hot.

Nyu I thought. Stahp it. You remember what happened last time, don't you?

I resumed to drawing a shitty cell while being overly confused about what just happened.

Time skip to lunch and I pull my friend Jaden aside.

"What's up?" She asks.

"I...I need to tell you something."

You see, Jaden was the one friend in the group everyone rants to, tell secrets to, talk about problems with, she's basically the group's therapist.

Anyway, back to the possibly worst mistake I've ever made.

"I...l-l-like..." I look up at Jaden, realizing I'm looking at the floor. She's leaning in, waiting for me to say who I like. I couldn't bring myself to say his name, so I just summed it up the best I could.

"O-our...red..head...friend..." I stopped there.

She knew exactly who I was talking about and lit up.

She also squeeled.

"Omigosh! Okay, I won't tell anyone!!" She hugged me and the bell rang.

"I'll help you out, I promise!" She called out from over her shoulder.

As I walked into the school, I wondered what it would be like to date an angel.

Little did I know, he was just another demon.

Another time skip later and it's been 3 days and nothing has happened.

The only thing that was happening was me and Jaden singing along to Me, Myself, and I during our P.E. class and me embracing the fact that I'm going to be single forever.

After P.E. there's homeroom. I sit next to my best friend Lacey and she has a goofy smile on her face.

"Hey, Trinity, guess what? Chance told me who he likes."

I smile at her and say "Good for him. Who is it?" I lean towards her and she just giggles, pushing me back onto my seat. "It's someone who likes him."

Me? No, it can't be. No one would ever like a potato like me.

So, I thought of other people that liked him.

"...Danika?"

She shook her head and just said "Maybe"

...why

I was about to ask her what that ment when Chance walked into the room.

Oh, I forgot to tell you one thing.

Yesterday of this day, Jaden told Chance that I liked him.

So...this makes it kinda awkward.

Yet another time skip to Lunch and I'm walking with Jaden towards Lacey and Kristen and they both have goofy faces on.

"Alright, what's going on?" I say as I walk up to them.

"Well" Lacey starts off. "We're not supposed to say, but-"

"CHANCE LIKES YOU!!!" Kristen shouts. Lacey slapped her arm.

My heart stopped. I froze and looked at everyone in disbelief.

Then I laugh.

I laughed so hard, I fell over and rolled a couple of times.

Some more of my friends surrounded me and looked down at me.

Including Chance.

"What happened to her??" He asked Lacey.

"Kristen told her you liked her."

"KRISTEN WHYYY I CAN'T TRUST YOU ANYMORE NOW OHMYGOSH" And like that he was walking away.

I was catching my breath when I heard someone talking.

"...so yes or no?"

I look up at Kristen. "Wha?"

"Will you go out with Chance? Yes or no?"

"...yes."
