When in New York

Chapter 1

Okay so my name is Savanah and yeah it is spelt that way so yeah. Anyway I have brown eyes.  Yep typical brown eyes brown curly/wavy hair and I’m 14 years old and 5 ft. I’m not the best runner that I could be but you know I try my best. IM NOT FAT. I’m just saying asthma slows you down sometimes. Anyway I play cello, watch YouTube and anime more then I actually watch TV. I'm not much of girly girl but I can dress nice when I want to. I'm trying to learn how to skateboard but I'm failing pretty badly but whatever, I try. I like to sing but I am pretty okay when I try to find my pitch but it's hard. I also like to sketch, again not the best but I try.

Anyway I’m a "Cali girl" as you would say, but why am I in New York you might ask well it’s because I’m here for....

MINE-O-RAMA!!!!!

And I know you might be thinking wow what a nerd she plays minecraft but NO I have always wanted to go to a convention for a while and it took a lot of begging to convince my mom and dad of all people. But I did it and I would be staying with an old childhood friend April O'Neil, she moved here when her dad found a better job in New York but yeah now she stays with her Aunt she never really told me why but it doesn't faze me that much. We all have our secrets. Also yeah I know she’s 2 years older than me but we are close.

When I finally arrived at the airport and went to go get my luggage me and April both saw each other and it was like in those movies. We both ran towards each other and embraced while we jumped up and down. "Oh my gosh Savanah look at you! You've gotten so tall and so pretty! I have missed you so much and I was so happy to hear you were coming to New York for the whole summer!" April almost yelled pulling away from the hug giving me a good look.

"I know and I can say the same to you! I’m super happy to see you and I’m so excited to go to Mine-O-Rama in July!" "I bet you are but until then we can catch up and my Aunt is so excited to see you." April said as we finally got my luggage and went walking to the car. "Awww I can't wait to see her too. Can you believe it's been like 7 years?" I said as we were getting into the car.

-------------Le Time Skip---------

Later that day after talking with April’s aunt for a while we went out for pizza. The sun was setting when we finally got there. We ordered a large pizza to share and when I took the first bite it was like heaven and I guess April noticed because she said " I can see you really like that pizza don't you Vanah?" "You have no idea. It's like my mouth had a freaking orgasm that’s how good that was just saying," I said and April laughed so hard that she was on the verge of chocking on her pizza.

When we were walking back it was already night and about halfway home when I though I heard someone telling someone else to be quiet on the rooftops. I tried to just blow it off saying to myself that it was my imagination but I couldn’t help it anymore I got really curious as to what it was and looked up and I saw four turtle like figures jumping the rooftops. “AWESOME!” I said in my head. Or so I thought because April asked me what I thought was awesome. “Well you may think I'm crazy but I think I saw four turtle figures jumping the rooftops," I said. "Really?" April questioned with a hint of nervousness in her voice, and did her face go pale for a second? “Yeah but I think my minds just playing tricks on me I mean it’s like two hours a head over here or something like that and I was so excited to see you and to be going to mine-O-rama in July that I didn't get any sleep on the way here," I said waving off the fact that April turned pale. "Yeah I bet that’s it. Well we are almost home anyway so you can go get change and go to sleep if you want," April suggested. "Yeah I’m going to do just that." I said.

Aprils P.O.V

I waited a few hours after Savanah went to sleep to go see the guys I have to tell them that Savanah’s here. I opened the door to the room Vanah was staying in just to make sure she was a sleep and she was.

When I walked into the lair I called all the guys to come to the couch. "Okay so you guys I have something I need to tell you and it is super important that you do this." "Alright so what’s up April," Donnie asked “Okay I have an old friend who came to New York for some convention that she really wanted to go to s-" " How olds you're friend? What’s her name? How long have you been friends? Is she single? Is she pretty?" Mikey interrupted.

"MIKEY!" Raph yelled hitting him on the back of the head. "Sorry I just want to know about April’s friend." Mikey said rubbing his head. "Its okay and thanks Raph but I guess I should tell you guys about her. So her name is Savanah she’s 14 we have been friends sense she was born. And I don't think she has a boyfriend and she says she hates everyone at her school except the few friends she has there and her friends from her church and she only has three guys friends who she only thinks of as friends so yeah I’m guessing that she’s single. And I thinks she’s really pretty but she doesn't think so,” I said and the guys all nodded.

"So I what I was trying to say is that I need you guys to be a bit more hidden but even if she saw you guys I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t freak out. Oh yeah and you guys had a close call today she saw you guys jumping the rooftops when we were walking back to my place but I convinced her it was probably her mind playing tricks on her," I said. "MIKEY THIS IS WHY WE TELL YOU TO BE QUIET DURING PATROL!!!!!" Leo screamed practically killing my ears. "Leo its fine. But seriously I don't think she will freak out she said awesome when she saw you guys," I said. “Are you sure she said awesome April I mean people tend to freak out we they see giant humanoid turtles," Leo questioned. "Trust me Leo she's pretty strange and thinks anything weird is cool ... WAIT I'm not saying you guys are weird I mean you guys aren't something you would see every day... no I didn't mean it that either… AHHHHHHH," I freaked as they all laughed at me and my cheeks started to heat up from embarrassment. "Yeah we know what you mean and we will try to be even more careful now that your friends here," Donnie said when he finally stopped laughing.

"Whatever I'll see you guys later I have to get home before Savanah so when she wakes up in the morning she won't freak out if she sees I'm gone," I said while getting off the couch. "Bye April see you tomorrow right," Donnie asked. "Yep see ya guys tomorrow," I said.
