           (Y/N) was assigned to the U.S.S Enterprise. You were to be working in engineering since that's what you were studying that at the academy. You were so excited because you have liked working on things since your dad let you help fix his cars at the age of twelve. You walked into the engineering room with your toolbox and heard someone yell," Get down from that, you're not supposed to climb on the pipes."

      You laughed as you sawva man yelling at a little creature on top of one of the pipes. Wow, you liked his Scottish accent. You liked guys with accents, it made them ten times hotter. "Excuse me, but can you tell me where I could find Monterey Scott?" You asked. "You're looking at him, lassie," answered Scotty, "Call me Scotty." You can't believe you started to like a guy that turned out to be your boss.

       "Okay, well, what do you want me to work on?" You asked. "Come with me," Scotty said, walking to the warp core," There are some wires loose if you want to fix them." "Sure," you answered, sitting down your toolbox. "I'll be back in a few to check on you," Scotty said, walking back to the small creature. You got to work rewiring the warp core.

       It take you five minutes to fix it. When it come to fixing things, it was so easy and quick for you. You thought it was going to be so much fun fixing things on the Enterprise. You knew that there would be a possibly of that happening a lot since you were on it's five year journey to go who no one has gone before as your brother quoted. Your brother was lucky and safe in the bridge as a night navigator.

       Your brother was the one who encouraged you to go to Starfleet and get you degree in engineering. You was scared at first for being away from home, but you were glad that you went. You was looking for Scotty to see if there was anything else to be fixed. You find him at his desk writing something. "That was fast, lassie," Scotty said. "I know," you replied, sitting your toolbox down on his desk," Is there anything else you wanted me to fix?"

      "Yes, Bones says one of his monitors isn't working right," Scotty," You can go fix it since my other workers are still working." "Okay," you said. You took the lift to the floor where Med Bay was. You run right into a Vulcan and his PADD fall to the floor and broke. "I'm so sorry, Commander Spock," you told him. "You can just call me Spock," Spock said," And I just got done finding a way to use this planet sample the away team got a few days ago and now it's gone." "(Y/N) and I'm sorry," you answered.

       Spock picked up his broke PADD up. You grabbed it and replies," Give me a hour and I'll have it fixed for you." "It seems highly illogical that you can fix this in a hour," Spock says, raising his eyebrow. "Just trust me when I tell you I can fix things in minutes," you explained," I just have to go fix something in Med Bay and I'll get to it after that." "I'll most likely be on the bridge," Spock said.

     "I'll find you later then," you told him, walking to Med Bay. Bones showed you the monitor that was shortening out and blanking on and off. You got to fixing the problem, untiring and retiring wires. You was about to give up when the monitor start functioning right. "Great job, (Y/N)," Bones said," Scotty must be proud to have you on board in engineering. "

      "Yeah, fixing things that are broke just comes easy to me," you said," Now if you excuse me, I have to fix this PADD for Spock." Bones said bye. walked back to engineering and sat at one of the station was assigned to you. You started fix the PADD. You were so focus on fixing the PADD that you don't notice Scotty was next to you until he waved his hands in front of your face.

        You jumped and the wires shocked you. "Shit, Scotty, don't sneak up on me like that," you said, hitting him in the arm. "Sorry, lassie, I was going to tell you that it was dinnertime," Scotty," I thought I would invite you to join me?"
