Chapter 4 - I don't care if you're the queen of England
"Shit Hils kill me now that dude saw me checking him out." I blushed furiously and told Hilary, while she just giggled at me. I kept my eye level to the ground and only brought it up to find that hotshot walking towards us.
"Hey girls," he greeted.
"Hello." I replied, my heart skipped a beat when he said that, but there is one side of me screaming, "HE IS A PLAYER. HE LOOKS TOTALLY PLAYER! STAY AWAY!"
He picked up my hand and planted a small kiss on it and whispered huskily, "My name is Shaun. What's yours, beautiful?" My heart skipped a beat and face heated up so much, our eyes locked. Why was I reacting so much to this Shaun dude?
"Mmm... I'm Pearl. Nice to meet you." I said and whipping my hand out of his, which ending up smacking my own face. He chuckled at my clumsiness. I was hoping someone save me from this devil here!
"Whoa... Who're you?" Christopher bellowed standing in between us and pushed Shaun by his chest so there was distance between us and him, "Lay off."
Shaun took a daring step forward and squinting his eyes, he replied coldly, "Who is she to you?!?"
"MY SISTER and NO ONE MESSES WITH HER. I MEAN NO ONE. I DON'T CARE IF YOU'RE THE QUEEN OF ENGLAND OR THE KING OF SPAIN. NO ONE MESSES WITH MY BABY SISTER."
Dazed, Shaun replied, "Mmm... Ok sorry. I wasn't planning on messing with her." Raising both his hands to side of his head, Shaun took a step back. He looked so shocked When he heard that Christopher is my brother. It's hard to recognize though. Firstly, Christopher is only older than me by 8 more months given that I was a premature born baby. Most people think it's impossible to have a sibling that's not at least a year younger, that's also the reason why Christopher and I are in the same grade. Secondly, Christopher inherited my dad's sexy brown hair, while I got mousy blonde hair that's totally not like my mom's.
Honestly, my hair isn't the best looking hair, there's always tangles and I have brown roots, which makes people always think my hair isn't really blonde but fake. Another thing is that my brother's hair is straighter than mine. Mine is not curly and not straight. It in between!
However, both my brother and I inherited our dad's green eyes. I'm glad we have something in common.
"Chris, I'm fine. Shaun didn't do anything to me." I murmured, internally fan-girling about how cool my brother is.
Christopher scrutinized me and said, "Yer sure? I saw him all over you!"
I nodded reassuringly.
"Hey guys! We're going to the beach!" Lena hollered over at us. We filed into Shaun's friend's pick-up and drove off to one of the best beaches in the world. Hilary threw a bikini over at me. I looked at it in disgust.
"NO WAY I'M PUTTING THAT ON."
"YES YOU ARE." After arguing with the girls for a while I sighed in defeat. They started cooing about how Shaun was all over me just now and my brother told them to shut up The boys moved all the mats and stuff out of the pick-up and the girls changed at the stranded hut down the beach. When I exited the hut, someone grabbed me from behind.
"Shhh... It's me." He released me and I turned around. Shaun's hair was all sexily tousled and he was shirtless.
"Shaun? Wait. Where are we going?" Before I could say anything Shaun pulled me in between and up rocks.
