Act II

I come on a hurry to the train, so I always manage to get inside. A classmate of mine had entered with me, she picks her seat and I arrange for a place right next to her. You're having class today? I couldn't really miss this train, and if I had I would have nothing to tell, so there I was. What time is your test?

There's a girl in the back, her face's pale, she searches for something across the Windows. When did your teacher come back, or has he not? She didn't find it, whatever she's looking for, or maybe she thinks it's inside the train now. Whatever the odds may be she looks more lost than ever. I hope it goes well for you. But for me it just can't, the girl's staring right through me, or maybe at me, or maybe, maybe...

Joder, que él no se mueve ni un pedacito. Qué hacemos? Échale agua! Agua? Pero... No! Qué haces tu? No, no!

Someone felt like I should wake up soaking wet. Whatever the reason may be, that person's not here any more. Maybe they wanted to wet my dreams, or maybe my dreams weren't wet enough, or maybe, maybe... I sneeze, but what time can it be? I'm late, that's for sure.

After giving myself a whiz in the whirler, I put on my clothes dry and head for the main hall to check the classroom on the board. Apparently, it's changed again so now it's a question between the new corridor, the existing doorsigns and, of course, me.

After class, I prey (or go after, but mostly prey) on my room neighbours and find out the circumstances of my wet morning starter. Eh el stalker nos está mirando del canto... Hola, primo, por que no vienes aquí? Sí, que teníamos ganas de saber como va tu invento! Yes, they always have some new idea for me, a time machine, a spiderweb thrower, a flying backpack. This time it was a dream catcher, but first I'd need a cobweb, a spare screw and a net, which were nearly impossible to find without Miss Ingno hearing about it. Solo esos?

They leave in between laughs, but deep down they know I won't pass it down. Today I'll have all the materials they think I need plus all the ones I really need.

With the orange and the calculator safe on my bedroom, I waited for twilight then headed for Zone S, which was on the opposite end of the school. It's one of the less patrolled areas in the map, so most of my classmates avoid staying there for long. Since there aren't many people passing there, most lights are obliviously blowing out in the absence of care.

Just after I put the fused siren on my pocket, a door shuts behind my back and I hear steps that every single one of us would recognise. Eh chico? Que haces por aquí? Acaso te has perdido de tus compañeros? Vaya, te llevo al salón principal. Viente comigo, sí?

Miss Ingno, the most esteemed person in the school, takes me by her hand and diligently escorts me out of the S zone corridor, unaware of my newly acquired belongings.
