CHEN POV

It was the next morning and we were all in the car driving to the orphanage, I still can't believe all those scars on Ari's back are real, there was just so many. She was currently sitting on my lap asleep, she looked so peaceful when she was asleep and you would never guess that she went through what she did. Just had that kind of personality that was so happy go lucky, that it just didn't seem real. We arrived at the orphanage and it was a bit bigger than I expected but it looked pretty much exactly the same as the picture when we looked it up online. I picked up Ari trying not to wake her up as I carried her through the parking lot with the rest of the members, we entered the orphanage and it looked pretty nice, clean. Ari woke up and rubbed the tiered out off her eyes, then her eyes widened like she had seen a ghost.

"Appa wha, what are we doing here?" She said stuttering a bit, she started to shake with fear so I gave her a tight hug and shushed her to try and calm her down.

"Shhh~ it's ok Ari, we are just here to adopt you officially then you won't ever have to see this miserable place again" I whispered softly, she nodded her head then we were at the front desk. The lady there seemed pretty surprised to see us here.

"Well hello EXO, how may I help you today?" She asked kindly.

"We're here to adopt Ari" I said looking down at her, the lady's eyes widened.

"Ari is that you, Where Have You Been!?! I could have gotten fired because of that little stunt you pulled with that little nuisance Lee, I swear if these guys weren't here you so would be getting it" she said angrily through gritted teeth, at the end she took a step forward like she was about to pounce making Ari squeak in fear and hide her face in my neck, her little arms holding on to me for dear life. We all looked at the lady like she was crazy.

"What is wrong with you? What did she ever do to you!" Kai said angry probably at the woman's words, I was too.

"That worthless little brat has been missing for more than a week making me almost loss my job, you may or may not have seen already but all those little scars on her back; she deserved every single one of them, you want to adopt her? Fine but it's a waste of time, she's worthless" the lady said before walking away somewhere in the back to who knows where. Ari lifted her head up from my neck and began to cry.

"What did I do Appa, am I really worthless?" She asked mid sob, I rubbed her back and gave her another tight hug, all the members looked at her with great concern.

"No no Ari, your not worthless, your priceless, don't believe anything that lady says" I said softly while rubbing her back, trying to get her sobs to subside, after a few minutes the lady can back with a papers, she put them on the front desk and put down some pens next to it then she left again, D.O went up and read them off.

"It her adoption forms" he said.

"What does it say?" Chanyeol asked him.

"It just say stuff like 'do you accept the responsibility of the child, Arianthe'?" He answered Kai went up next him and looked over it too.

"Guys I think we just fill this out then we can have Ari" he said looking at us then back at the paper.

"That simple?" I asked still rubbing Ari's back, who's crying had stopped.

"Looks like it" Kai replied back picking up one of the pens, we all got closer gathered around the forms examining them and grabbing a pen. I put Ari on my hip as signed my name under legal parent, it was a bit tight because we all had to fit our names on and under the line but it worked out. 

"Guys who's last name is she going to take" Sehun asked, he was right who's last name was she going to take, she can't take all 9 of are last names.

"Why not she take the last name of the majority" Suho suggested.

"Ok that sounds fair" Kai said.

"Says the one with the majority of last name" Baekhyun commented, Kai playfully glared at him.

Suho went to the paper and wrote down Kim next Arianthe on the paper as Ari's new last name.

"Look Ari at your new last name" Lay pointed at the paper and Ari read it before smiling widely.

"Arianthe Kim, I love it!" She shouted in joy.

"I'm glad you do" I told her smiling at her joy, she smiles back then gave me a hug cuddling up to my shoulder. After everything was filled in we rung the bell in the counter and the lady came back.

"Done already, that was quick, well your finished you can take the brat home for she is officially your daughter" she said walking away to the back again, we left with Ari in my arms and piled in to the car driving back to the dorm. I smiles down at Ari, she fell asleep again, god she's so cute I thought to myself.
