Chapter 8: Besides Me and You

Hello,  luvs I know about last the last chapter being out of order but I wanted to at least put the chapter in this book so we are back to where Dolph had asked Journey ( Ash's best friend) on a date and Journey accepted.  So this chapter will be of their date and what happens after.  I do want to remind you that Journey is played by  You_Cant_Teach_That.  Go follow her if you aren't already she is amazing.  Anyway, let's dive in shall we. 

Journey P.O.V

I couldn't tell if I was more nervous or excited.  So I did the one thing that calmed me down.  I paced around the room until he showed up. So I wasn't surprised when I heard a light tap on the door.  I ran and threw it open almost taking it from its hinges.  But it was all worth it to see the beaming smile and baby blues looking at me. 

"Hi," I say awkwardly because what else was I gonna say.

" Hey you, ready to go?" He says as if he has done this a million times.

"Yep, I am.  So how are you doing? " I speak trying to recover myself from earlier.

" I'm good.  How about you? " His questions.

" I am amazing.  Thank you for asking." My voice falters as he throws his muscled arm around my tiny shoulders.

" So I hope you like movies because we are going to see.........  Suicide Squad. " He says his amazing voice filled with hope.

"Yes! I have been dying to see that movie!"  I practically scream.

" Good I kinda hoped so. " He says sighing a breath of relief.

  ------------- 30 minutes later-------------

Dolph POV

We had just pulled up to the theater.  When she looked at me and smiled.

"Thank you for this.  No guy has been as nice to me as you have been tonight." Her voice fills with sorrow

"Well, baby the reason for that is because nobody is like me." Her smile grows wider as I speak.

I climb out of the car and glide my way over to her side of the passenger side of the care and open the door and watched her as she almost jumped out of the car and ran to my side.  I just had to chuckle at her cuteness.  We made our way into the theater,  bought our tickets and found two back row seats. 

---- 2 hours and 30 minutes later. ----

Journeys POV

After the most amazing movie was done. Dolph had my hand in his and we were walking out together. I was headed for the car but he pulled me closer and kept walking past it I began to wonder but decided against asking questions.  We stopped in front of a beautiful apartment complex. We slid into a set of revolving doors. Then stepped into a beautiful lobby.  He pulled my hand gently behind him while I was admiring everything I could.  When the elevator doors closed I watch him the roof button.  In a matter of seconds, the door had opened and we were surprised to see it was raining really hard.  But before I can lose my confidence.  I grabbed Dolph's shirt and pulled him out in the rain both of us are soaked. But q5 that moment we didn't care I stood on the tips of my toes and matched my lips to his. 

I got home shortly after still soaked I hit my bed and was sound asleep. 

Yes, I  know super short chapter but I had wanted this chapter for a really long while so I decided halfway through to cut out the other peoples night and I think it came together well.  All I need to know is what do you think about Journey and Dolph.  Okay, one quick reminder is that you should all go follow.   You_Can't_Teach_That.  She is awesome and she also plays Journey.  So go check her out.
