*ASH POV*

My match. Its finally time for my match. I sat on a crate backstage. Eyes closed, listening to the crowd roar with Roman outside the curtain.

Footsteps in the hallway. The soft clunk of insoles against the concrete. I take a deep breath, as the footsteps turn, opposite of me, in the hallway.

I lean on my knees with my forearms, and hang my head. I heard more footsteps, but this time they stopped beside me. My head was in my hands. I heard a grunt as someone jumped up to sit on the crate next to me. I peeked out of my hands. Those boots were all too familiar. I sunk into his side.

"Its gonna be okay lass." Finn spoke, holding me close. I kiss his shoulder, a tradition of good luck for us. He kisses my shoulder.

"You'll do amazing lass, and I'm sure Enzo appreciates your sacrifice." He mumbled into my ear.

"He doesn't. He hates me like everyone else here." I mumbled. He didn't have demon paint on, thankfully, I would have ruined it.

"They don't hate you, they can't, your gorgeous, and funny, and smart, and talented. How could they hate you?" He softly smiled down at me.

"Finn, you haven't heard the things they say." I sighed, my voice shaking.

"Not to intrude on this beautiful reunion, but Ash is right. You haven't heard the cruel things they say about her." The accent was slightly southern, but I immediately knew who it was. He climbed up the ladder next to the crate, instead of jumping like Finn did. He stood on the crate, unbuckling his championship belt. He placed it on my shoulder and leaned down next to me.

"Everything will be perfectly fine, you'll win. Strong, proud, beautiful, loyal, generous, you'll be the face of the company." He smiled. Man, why did Jeff have to remind me of comic book Wolverine all the d*mn time?

"Easy for you to say. Your so loved, I'm so hated." I said, now placing my head on Jeff's shoulder. He sighed placing his bead on top if mine. That's when we heard it.

' I am a dying breed. Don't wanna mess with me'

The start of my theme and Jeff's song. I slid out of his grasp, and grabbed my leather jacket off the crate.

"We aren't done with this self confidence problem conversation! Keep that in mind." Jeff smiled. I slid on my jacket and walked out. Stephanie was already out there. Alone. Good. I smirked as I walked down to the ring. My theme cut out suddenly, as another one cut in. I knew that theme like it was my own. The Hardy Boyz. Jeff ran out and picked me up on his shoulders, carrying me to the ring, I laughed with him as he did his hip thrusts at the ring.

"Thanks Hardy!" I yelled as he ran back up the ramp. He turned around to reply.

"Anytime Sweetheart!" He yelled back, then disappeared behind the black curtain. I smiled at where he once stood, then looks up at Stephanie in the ring.

"I thought you said you didn't have any friends." She rolled her eyes.

"Female ones that could help me? No. Male on the other hand, I have a few. Short enough list as you can imagine." I pulled myself into the ring, holding a certain arrogance that people loved, well at least in other people. I was going to put everything in this match, and I did, as soon as that bell rung. When that bell rung, I put all my demons, my doubt, every comment, every snicker, every sneer, behind what I did. And I crushed her. She didn't stand a chance. The match lasted minutes, it would have lasted seconds if I hadn't done a tribute to the only 4 friends that stuck with me. I fist did a Twist Of Fate, for Matt, Then a Coup De Grace, For Finn, an End Of Days, for Baron, and lastly, a Swanton Bomb, for Jeff. Completely unneeded moves, but meaningful to the people that understood. I pinned Stephanie, and got the three count of course. Raw, was now Mick Foley's, and Meleah Amore, was back. Jeff and Finn ran out and carried me backstage on their shoulders.

Everything was perfect in that moment. I wanted it to be that way forever. I didn't know I would have a fight with Jeff backstage, breaking our friendship, and eventually, we mended it. I wanted to be on top of the world forever.
