2: Who are you?

3rd POV

"Hey, you've been grinning since that phone call, it's creeping me out." Shukuzawa said giving Akita a weird look. Akita looked at Shukuzawa pouting, but slowly it turned to grin again.

"I can't help it." she replied giggling.

"So who's the new student?" Shukuzawa asked in a serious tone while looking away and put his hands on his pocket. Akita was startled when he asked it, then changed into smirk.

Both of them are waiting for the new student to arrive. "Why would you ask me?" she replied innocently.

"I know, you know who the new student is." he sighed thinking about Mr. Serizawa said to him yesterday.

Flashback

"Mr. Serizawa you called me?" Shukuzawa said as he entered the office.

"Ah, yes Shukuzawa-san. I want you and Ms. Akita-san to welcome the new student." he said as he rested his chin on his fist.

"Why me? And why didn't you call for Akita-san?"

"It was requested by her..."

"Her?"

"Er, the new student. She requested that you and Ms. Akita will be the one welcoming her. But I must only talk to you privately. You will only say to Ms. Akita that both of you will welcome her. No questions asked." he said and dismissed Shukuzawa.

End of flashback

"This school year would definitely be interesting." she smirked. Then as soon as they saw a car entering her smirk turned into a smile and her face lit up. Shukuzawa gave her a puzzle look but she definitely didn't care. The car stopped in front of them. The door opened not waiting for the driver to open it. Shukuzawa suddenly felt nervous waiting to see who the new student is.

The girl has messy blonde hair, piercing blue eyes, and a natural light tan skin. "Eh..." Shukuzawa exclaimed. "Who are you?" he continued. It made Akita and the girl giggle. He was startled when Akita jumped and hugged the girl who was a little bit shorter than her.

"Runa-chan! I missed you so much!" Akita exclaimed while burying her face on the crook of the new student's neck.

"I missed you too, Yayoi-chan." she replied patting the top of her head. Shukuzawa stared at the blonde girl with a puzzle look.

"Who are you?"

"I'm sorry. I'm Ichikawa Runa, pleased to meet you." she bowed with a smile.

"I'm Shukuzawa Shun'ichi, pleased to meet you too. Let's go." he replied and shrugged off the question he wanted to ask. But it can be asked later.

He listened to their conversation. It seems like Ichikawa-san is from abroad. But how'd she meet Akita-san? And how come she's here? Why don't I know her? I know every top class family here. Maybe she's part of the middle-class people? No, middle-class people can't afford this school. These thoughts have been running through his mind while giving the tour of the school to the new student. And since class has started so there are no students aside from them roaming around the school.

"-kun... Shun-kun?" Shukuzawa was startled when he hit something(I mean someone). He looked down to see Ichikawa on the ground holding her ass with a pain look planted on her face.

"I'm sorry. Here let me help you." he said as he helped her get up.

"Eh, Shukuzawa-san why are you spacing out?" Akita asked moving beside Ichikawa. He thought about the questions running around his head when Ichikawa spoke first.

"You must be wondering who I am? And how'd I met Yayoi-chan?" he just gave the blonde girl a nod.

"Well, first off, Me and Yayoi-chan has been friends since we we're little. But when I was 8 years old, my parents decided to transfer me abroad because of whatever reason. And after a couple of years, I came back here and fulfill my promise to Yayoi-chan."

"But I never heard about your family business, not even one business about Ichikawa Group." he asked puzzled. This time Akita was the one who chuckled.

"Yeah, it's kind of a secret." Ichikawa said shyly.

"Why?"

"Coz if someone knows Runa-chan's business, you may or may not look at her the same way." Akita replied looking away with a pissed off face.

"It's okay, Yayoi-chan." she smiled. "I'm happy that I'm back here, and I'm back for good." she continued with a smile on her face. Shukuzawa stared at Ichikawa's face, when Ichikawa looked his way, he quickly looked away with a blush on his face.

I'm definitely looking forward in entering this school. Ichikawa thought as she listened to Akita talking about the past.

Who are you, Ichikawa Runa? Shukuzawa thought as they continued to roam around the school.
