Prologue

Julie's POV

March, 28th, 2012

Dear Diary, today I moved into my new house that belonged to my Grandma Jenna, she left the house for my family in her will, it's actually not that bad. I am nervous about a new school though, meeting new people isn't what I am really good at doing... My brother Bret is enjoying this place so far, i'm surprised that he isn't bothering me right now, maybe this is a good place to live. My little sister Caroline and my other little brother Piers (both 7 years old) are in the backyard playing on the rope swing, and my Mom is in the living room cuddling with my step dad watching some romantic movie. Well my life is going swell, for now.

"Hey Julie, whatcha up to?"

My brother Bret, blonde hair, sky blue eyes, very muscular, funny, playful, and he is 15, basically Bret has a lot of features that I look for when it comes to dating.

"Oh, just checking out the website of the school we have to go to"

"Lemme see, oh man this school sucks, lunch is last period."

"Well we could just come home and eat here, last period we don't have to be in school we can just leave"

"Well this school is a little bit better now", he said laughing.

"Julie!, Bret!, come down for Lunch!"

My mom Ellie, blonde hair, green eyes, great cook, sweet personality, overall amazing.

"What are we having for lunch mom?"

"Well sweetie, you can have a sandwich, or we can go to Taco Bell or we ca-"

"TACO BELL!" I said with a huge smile on my face.

"Okay okay," my mom said giggling.

"Alright everyone, seat belts buckled?"

My step dad, Raymond, he has the same personality and features as my mom, how weird is that, but my step dad is actually into really weird things like collecting things from dead animals like a birds beak... Ew.

We finally arrive at Taco Bell and their are no customers, the place is like a ghost town, to be honest I got a little bit scared.

"Boo!"

"That's not funny Bret!, you could of given me a heart attack".

"Alright I would like 2 hard tacos please"

"Wow mom, why don't you get more than just 2 hard tacos"?

"Honey, i'm watching my weight, go ahead order your food."

"Okay mom, I would like 6 soft tacos 4 hard tacos one coolatta cherry flavor and one wrap please"

"Bret what do you want"

I said staring at this very attractive worker with my mouth open almost drooling...

"Jeez Jewels, stop staring, you're drooling!" Bret said laughing at me.

"Shut up Bret!"

"Anyways, I would like 3 hard tacos one raspberry coolatta, extra raspberry." Bret said.

"Oh 4 more soft tacos please."

"That for you mom?"

"No Jewels, it's for Piers and Caroline."

"Okay that will come up to 32.75." said the Cashier

"I'll pay for it mom!"

"Well okay then sweetie, we will be in the car."

Okay good my family is in the car, I can make a move now... What should I say? He's so cute but I don't think he likes me, should I ask him out, should I give him my number? Should I just pay him and leave? Bret already made it obvious that I like him... Why am I so scared to say something...

"Don't worry you don't have to pay for it, my name is Andrew, what is your name?"

As he spoke, his eyes sparkled sky blue just like Bret's in the light and his perfect white teeth showed, and he looks so cute.

"M-M-My name is Julie"

I am so nervous I almost forgot my own name

"Thats a very pretty name Julie"

"Thanks, and thanks for giving me the food for free, you sure you won't get in trouble?"

"Nah I won't get in trouble, my manager doesn't care about the store anymore" he said with a smirk.

I should just do it, I should just give him my number... Okay Julie, you can do it.

"Here's my number, 302 758 9332, call me sometime, kay?"

Wow. I was thinking about giving him my number but he gave me his...

"Thanks, i'll call you when I get home, bye Andrew." I said that with such a huge smile on my face, I might actually get to date him.

"What took you so long Jewels? I was hungry in here!" Bret said while trying to snatch the bag from me.

"I uh I was um talking to the manager, yeah talking to the manager"

Finally we are home and I finished eating in the car, I can't wait to call Andrew.

"Hello? It's me Julie, from Taco Bell"

"Oh hey Julie, i'm glad you actually called"

"What, most girls don't call you or something?"

"Well, not really, so what's up, whatcha doin?"

"Well, i'm just laying on my bed nothing much, how about you Andrew?"

"Playing my xbox"

"Oh, well I could call back later if your busy"

"Wait!, Don't hang up, i'm not busy I wanna talk to you"

"Okay then, so wanna go to the mall or to get lunch tomorrow?"

"Sure! I'll see you tomorrow then, bye julie"

"Bye Andrew"
