Chapter 03

Chapter 3:
Meredith POV

*buzzz buzzz buzzz buzzz*

"ughhhh Venus help me find my phone" I said my voice still groggy.

I slid my hands around under the covers until my I hit my phone.

Quickly snatching it out from under the covers and shut off my alarm.

"Okay I've got a few hours to kill but I'm going to skip working out today I'll be fine" I threw on a tan Thrasher tee shirt some black denim short with some white converse.

Then put on foundation, highlighter, and did my brows.
I don't use mascara because I have eyelash extensions but that's besides the point.

||Skip to around 10:00 Jake is about to pick Meredith up(at least that is what she thought)||

I poured Venus' food into her bowl and she purred as she ate it.

"Alright V he should be here any minute" *ringg ringg ringg* My phone went off "oh I'm guessing that's him" I smiled and lifted my phone to my ear.

M- Hey Jakieee
J- Aw that's a cute name hey Mere
M- so why did you call are you here?
J- not exactly there is one problem
M- ahh! What is it??
J- I got have to go to an interview at 10:00 so.... I sent Alissa, Tessa, and Lucas to get you.
M- oh umm.. are they almost here or what?
J- She said they're on your street I hope you're fine with all of this.
M-Ahhh tottal- *dingggg donggg* oh.. that's them! I'll catch you later Jakeee!!

Standing on my tiptoes I glanced through my peephole to see 2 girls standing outside my door laughing and a boy sitting in the car on his phone.

I hesitantly open the door "hiiii I'm Meredith!" I said smiling.

"I'm Alissa this is Tessa" she said in a loud confident voice.

I'm normally pretty confident until I get around pretty or super confident people then I get shy.

"Alright let's go" Tessa said as she ran toward the car "SHOTGUN" Tessa yelled.

"Ugh dang it! It's okay I'll just chill in the back with Meredith" Alissa looked at me and gestured toward the car.

I smiled and said "let's goo!!"

||Time skip to getting to the house (to sum up the trip Alissa and Meredith talked and got to know each other.)||

"Okay this is the place" Tessa said loudly trying to be heard over the radio.

"Woah" I said as I looked at the house.

"Let's goooo I'll give you a short tour" Tessa said.

"Oh awesome" I said as I stepped inside of the large house.

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Lucas walk outside and he seemed to be setting up the bar for the party pool party.

"Let's go up here" Tessa turned away and began to go upstairs.

"Hey Tessa who is your friend?" A boy asked from the top of the stairs "wait how did Lucas get up there I swear he was just outside" I looked up at her with a confused face.

"Haha he is a twin Meredith meet Marcus" I looked at him and he began to wave.

"TESSAAA!! I need you now!!" Alissa yelled from down stairs.

"Shit umm... Marcus finish giving her a tour." she quickly dashed down stairs to Alissa.

"Hey Marcus!" I said with a smile. "Okay let the tour begin with my room" he said smirking I have to admit Marcus made me uncomfortable and so did the smell of alcohol in his clothes.

Lucas was wayyy chiller. "Okay um great" I walked into his room and looked out of the window into his backyard "this house is amazing" I said I was still in awee.

Then I felt hands grabbing onto my hips and a warm presence pressed against my back.

I spun around and Marcus backed me into the wall holding me there with his body.

An arm was on each side of me preventing an escape.

" Can you not Marcus I'm with Jake" I squirmed but he was too strong.

he started to lean in and I turned my face away.

His lips crashed into my cheek in a slobbery mess.

I heard footsteps coming down the hall so I decided to call out to what sounded like it would be Alissa maybe she would overhear and come in because I really didn't want to make a scene.

"MARCUS WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING GET OFF." Alissa opened up the door her faced seemed shocked and her eyes were wide.

"Marcus what are you doing get off of her ugh" she reached over and slapped him in the process she grabbed my hand and quickly drug me out of the room slamming the door behind us.

"I cannot believe him this isn't the first time he has done this ever since he started drinking....."
