I didn't think this could happen

Honesty

I've been here for a couple of week and so far they've been amazing. Yeah it's weird being alone but she started by me a few books and mangas so I'm not TOTALLY bored. Although my feelings put me in some weird positions but I covered it up easily

Today is going to be the day I tell her. My past and how I ended up like this. She came home from school and just died on the couch. I started poking her and all I got was groans from her. "Hey I think I'm ready to tell you my past." Next thing you know she's up smiling and running up the stairs. She shouted, "Get dress we're going to a cafe and then you can tell me!"
I just laugh at her like you were just dead a moment ago. And I can't believe she's that excited to learn about my past.

Well this was bound to happen. When she came down the stairs, my jaw dropped and I stared a bit too long at her.

She looks so pretty. While I was wearing something that made me seem decent. Before we left, we put on hats since it was snowing outside.

We started walking and had normal conversations like who would be a better dictator or why isn't there a new plague to minimize the population. Thirty minutes later, we show up to this cozy cafe that looked a little like a cabin in the woods.

We walked up to the counter to order our drinks.
"I would like a mocha coconut frappuccino with vanilla cake."

She looked at me indicating I should say my order. "I'd like hot chocolate and a breakfast sandwich with potatoes."

I felt a little shy but the lady at the cash register smiled at me. "Such a cute hybrid. That would be 18609.22 won."

Jennifer paid her and we sat down at a window seat. Our waitress, Heasley Jeon, delivered our food. "Okay so tell me tell me tell me."

"My parents had the recessive gene for a hybrid so here I am as a hybrid. My dad wasn't okay with that and left me and my sister to our mom. My mom didn't take that well so I get beat by her often since I was the reason for him leaving. My sister tried to defend me but got beat in the process. She got to leave. My mom died but that happened when my dad came back. He then decides to blame me for her death and beat me worse than she did. So I developed a fear of walking around my house and speaking out. We moved but he never told me where. After moving, he abused me a few more years until I ran from away from him. I've been in that for about six months before you found me. The story of my life."
I finally looked at her since I looked out the window while telling my story. She has a few tears running down her face as she sips her frappuccino. I used my hand to wipe them away and I smile at her.

Yeah it's a sad beginning but I might have a happy ending.

We both finished our meals and decided to walk to the nearest park.

Yeah it was getting late but we enjoyed each others company. This one guy was walking and she started laughing. She ran and hugged him. He seemed a bit shocked but realized it was her and smiled. She looked at me and said, "Hey Keegan come meet my friend Tealin." I walked up to him slowly feeling very cautious about him. He can move his arm they already hugged. Wait what?!
I shook his hand and smiled but sense he was in a rush we didn't chat long. Thank god.
We headed back to the apartment and I went straight to my room to shower. I was in the shower for thirty minutes just thinking because we all think deep thoughts in the shower. It's unavoidable. When I got out, she asked me if I enjoyed my day and how I was feeling. I just ignored her. Can't believe I was jealous of someone from her class. Like yeah he nice looking but I'm better. I felt a slap in the back of the head and turned around. "You can't ignore me like that. What's wrong with you?"
"Well it was weird seeing another guy touching you especially a guy that's decent looking."
"Wait are you jealous?"
"Nope territorial."
"What's the difference?"
"Jealousy is wanting what someone else already has. Territorial is protecting what you already got." She blushed and said,"well want to watch attack on Titans?"
"Sure"
We watched a few episodes before heading to our rooms and going to sleep. Today was fun though. I forgot to thank you for that Jennifer. Thank you for also listening to my story and not judging me. I eventually went into a deep and peaceful sleep.
