Chapter 2: You can't help it!

ALiVE - Chapter 2

Cold wind was blowing from opened window, wher big, full moon was shown very clearly and it wa kinda getting red.
-It wasn't open..-Whispered Mami.
-What?
-I said, the window wasn't open when this happened to me!

Tomomi stood up to close window. She looked around, but nothing seemed strange. Then she got close to the screen with a sign again. letters were still there:
-Now, that's really, really weird..
-Agree, what could it be?
-I don't know, but let's just wait for tomorrow and for now, just relax and rest, okay? I have to go now. If you'll need me, call and i'll stay today with you. - said Tomomi.
-Okay, Thank you Tomo! Be careful. 

Girls hugged each other and Tomomi left. She was also worrying about Rina, who was sitting in front of the computer and waiting for her.

After 20 mins
* * * 
-Rina, are you still there?  - Tomomi quickly ran in the room and jumped on the chair.
-Yeah! Well? What's wrong with her? - Nervously asked Rina.
-Her arm.. it's cut, but she can't remember how? Only knows, that it happened when she touched that black screen.
-I'm going to her! - yelled Rina.
-I'm with you! Maybe she can remember anything! I'll pack clothes and some food for her. See you there!
-Me too! 

They both turned off chats and started to pack their stuff. Tomomi ran downstairs, it was dark already. She ran to the fridge and pulled out some food and juices. 

"She'll enjoy it..." 

Then she wrote a letter to her family members:
"Mom, i'm gone to Mami. I'll stay with her tonight. She's feeling bad.
Don't worry about it.
                                                Love, Tomo"   
And left.

Same happened with Rina.

After 20 minutes they both were at Mami's house, sitting beside her. Rina couldn't help herself and was crying like a little child:
-What's wrong with you Rinari? Everything's okay with me..-smiled Mami.
-But your arm..your arm...
-Don't worry about my arm, it's fine!

Tomomi was watching and smiled, but suddenly something popped out her mind:
-Mami, focus on the moment when you lost your mind! You said that you touched the screen, right? What happened next? We need to know, to find out what the hell is going on!

Mami closed her eyes and started to talk quietly:
-I'll start from the beginning. I was curious about the computer like both of you, so i touched it. then... I can't remember..
-Try Mami, try harder..Maybe there's something about the opened window too?-said Tomomi.
-Then..oh, then i saw someone! Yeah, then i saw a human, who opened the window and shone it's eyes! And after that i touched the screen. It blew up for a moment... that's all..
-Great! Now we knoe that we mustn't touch that screen! But there's one more mysery.. Who was that person outside? - exclaimed Rina.
-Yep, you're right, but we moved with one step closer to the truth.. - said Tomomi.
-You know guys, we won't know that human's personality tonight. Let's sleep! - asked Mami and turned to another side of the bed.

Girls turned off the light and fell asleep.

Next day, they made a plan like this: Rina would stay with Mami and look after her and Tomomi would go to college:
-Girls, it's not necessary! I can go with you too! It's nothing serious. - Mami was asking Tomomi, but she didn't want to hear thing like that. She put on the shouler bag and left. 

-How do you think, will everything be okay with her?
-I don't know Rinari, but i guess there won't be any weir accidents anymore.

*At that time in college*

It was a break time and college. Tomomi was standing beside her locker, and writing something in her notebook, when young boy came to her:
-Hi! You're Tomomi right? 
-Yeah, i'm. And you? 
-Oh, i'm Ishikawa, nice to meet you! I'm Mami's classmate. Could you give her this letter? She's skipping today lessons and i can't give it to her by myself. - blushed boy.
-Sure, no proble Ishikawa-san...

Boy bowed deeply and left Tomo. She really wanted to know what was writen in the letter, but didn't open it. Mami would anyway read it with her and Rina.

All the lessons, girl was thinking about yesterday. On the other break , suddenly rang her phone:
-Moshi, Moshi! 
-Tomo chan, it's Mami! You have to see it! 
-What to see? - Tomomi was lost.
-The screen, the game! Screen isn't black anymore, we can normally touch it and play the game again!
-Oh no, Mami. Don't play that damned game without me! I'll be in half an hour! - She dropped the phone and went to the doctor, to get agreement for going back home. 

She ran out of the building as fast as she could. When Tomomi reached Mami's house, quickly ran inside, upstairs and broke-up in Mami's room:
-Show me that game!
-Easy Tomo, easy! - Rina was trying to calm her down.

Tomomi sat in front of the computer, logged in the game and started to walk around to see if anything changed in the game too:
-Nothing! Everything is same! - said Mami. - Oh, she again! 
-Who? - asked Rina.
-Don't you know her? It's OnoKnight! Best among the players!
-Even better than you? I can't believe it. - giggled Tomomi.
-Yeah, better than me. She's on the 1st place in the top 5 players of the world.
-Woah! Sugee! She's the killer machine. - Laughed Rina.
-It's not funny at all! - shouted Mami. - Tomo, turn on the video chat, i want to talk with her! 
-Why?! 
-She's the best player, right? Then she will know the answers for our questions! Turn it on!

Tomomi connected with "OnoKnight". Stranger tuned on the chat too and they saw each other. 

It was a beautiful girl, with brown eyes and hair, nice face that was talking about her kindness:
-Hi! I'm Mami, nice to meet you! - started Mami.
-Hi! I'm Haruna. How can i help you? - answered girl.
-I have one question. Yesterday, something very stranged happened to the game, have you noticed it?
-Well, yeah. The screen became black and there was a sign: "Can you stay ALiVE?!"
-Yes! That's what we're talking about! When i touched the screen, it blew up and stripped the skin on my arm. Do you know about this anything?
-I heared the game is restoring and that's why..
-No, it's not a restore..It's something other.. -said Tomomi all of a sudden.
-Anything else? - asked Mami.
-No, sorry. That's everything i know..
-Okay, thanks for the help! - said Mami and turned of the chat. Haruna did the same and when girls dissapeared from her screen she started to cry:
"How could i do it?! Because of me that person got hurted last night..." - Suddenly a man came in:

-Haruna, what's wrong? - he asked.
-Nothing dad!
-Okay, then i'm going to work on my project and don't disturb me! - he said and left the room.

*At That time in Mami's room" 

-Okay girls! Nothing new...Let's search in the internet then. - suggested Rina.

Mami started to search for the company, that created the game, but there wasn't anything.
-It's really strange. Last month i was reading about that company and now it like vanished all of the sudden! But i think i know the name of the company! - exclaimed Mami.
-And? It's name is? 
-... Hisashi! yes, Hisashi's Company!
-Then tomorrow, we will.... - Tomomi was saying something, when earth started to move and the same atmosphere as yesterday fermented through the room. 
-What's happening? - Shouted Rina.
-I don't know! Just hold the feet of the table to not to crash something. - Shouted Mami.

Earth was moving for some seconds. When it stopeed all of them ran out of the house. The moon was all red. Everything around them had blood's color.

Mami's eyes started to cry with blood's tears, when she noticed it roared like a crazy animal:
-Help me! Help me someone!

-You can't help her! You can't help anyone! - Suddenly they heared the voice of the man, coming like from the sky.
-What, what are you talking about? What's wrong with our friend?! Who are you?! What do you want?! - shouted Tomomi and started to clear blood from Mami's eyes and face. At that time Rina lost her mind, because of the fear.

-I'm the god! God of the game, of this world and you'll be able to play only with my rules! You can't help it! Or everyone who you love, who's dear for you, will die, like all of you!
