NAVYS POV

I sat there for the next half an hour feeling guilty as hell. I even shed a tear or two but wiped them off by pretending to cough into my hands. At the end of the detention Luke got up quickly and left. I tried to collect all my pens as quick as possible and follow him.

By the time I made it out the building Luke had already left the gates. I started sprinting down the school yard and had to slow down at the gates because of my asthma.

"Lu- Luke Pl-please wait fofor me" I puffed jogging up to him. As I approached him he stopped and turned around. I flung myself into him hugging him tightly.

This was bad to the popular people like REALLY BAD. Like hitting a girl bad, throwing chocolate in the bin bad, calling someone black a n-word but I couldnt care less.

Luke stumbled back slightly at my impact but soon wrapped his arms aroumd my back too.

"Im really sorry, I didnt mean it in that way, he just gets jealous thats all!" I stressed.

"Its fine, come on we can get the 4pm bus" He said letting go of me and walking towards the bus stop.

LUKES POV

We got on the bus and sat at the back on top.

"So Navy, why do you actually talk to me because obviously your popular and im a loser crew member according to most people." I asked.

"I dont think it should be split atall, obviously your always going to have more popular people than others but to have a group called 'losers' is highly offensive." She said. I was pretty amazed at her response.

NAVYS POV
-1 WEEK LATER-

Almost everyday this week I would get the late bus with Luke. We snuck into the after school club until 20 past 3 and then would go and get the half past bus. I enjoyed Lukes company but even more the fact my friends thought I was in detention so I could spend time with my family and the horses.

It was Friday today and me and Luke were sat in the library in the corner secretly on our phones waiting for 20 past.

"So erm Navy can I ask you something" Luke said.

"Yes of course" I said locking my phone.

"Well my mum said that tomorrow is supposed to be a really nice day and she is visiting my auntie in another part of Melbourne so she let us have a pool party, I was wondering if you wanted to be my plus one or if not if you wanted to come anyways" He said smiling nervously.

"Erm Im not sure I think Joshua is making me meet him but to be honest I dont want to go with him" I said sadly.

"Okay" Luke said a hint of disappointment in his voice.

Ifelt really bad about it and Josh was forcing me to meet up with him. I have no feelings what so ever for Josh now but I know better than anyone that he would make my life hell if we were not a couple!
