chapter five ♡

NAVY S POV

We pulled up outside lukes and I stared at the house. Why was I so scared? I could knock all those bitches out with my popularity level! No dont get big headed Navy.

"Hello? earth to navy" my dad said.

N - "sorry haha"

D - "In your own little dream land there squirt!"

N - "I know, im just nervous, my friends dont really approve of Luke"

D - "Why has he got a bad reputation"

N - "No the complete opposite actually anyways thats another days conversation, Love you dad!"

D - "Love you too squirt"

I shut the car door and waved expecting him to drive off but he stayed there. I knocked hard on the front door to try and be heard over the music. A couple of seconds later Jai came to the door. He did a little wave to my dad and stood back for me to come in.

J - Hi you okay

N - Yeah you dont mind me coming do you?

J - No not atall, Lukes not stopped talking about the fact your coming!

N - Haha aww bless him I was exited to come myself

J - follow me...

I followed Jai down to the kitchen, lots of people stared at me when I walked in, probably wondering why I was coming to a 'non-popular' party. Jai poured me some coca cola.

"Vodka?" Jai asked.

"Erm yes please" I smiled. He poured in the vodka and handed me the cup.

"EVERYONE THIS IS NAVY, YOU CANT SAY ANYTHING TO ANYONE IN SCHOOL ABOUT HER BEING HERE OKAY?" Jai shouted. We got nods and yesses from people.

Luke had obviously heard Jai shout as we heard loud thumps downstairs and I saw his face appear in the doorway through crowds of people. I squeezed my way through people until I reached him. I hugged him tight and he hugged me back.

"Im so happy youre here" he said but then sounded like he regretted it after,  it obviously slipped out.

"Me too Luke" I said into his chest. I let go of his hug and took a sip of my drink.

"You coming in the pool for a bit?" Luke asked.

"yup" I said following him to the garden. It was even more crowded out here and I was beginning to get even more conscious about taking my top off. No-one really knows about my body image issues. I used to be really fat and I then went at a crazy speed to being anorexic.  Im stable now but really conscious!

Luke ripped off his top and jumped in on top of his friend. I laughed and looked around, I saw a big whale inflatable on the other side of the pool. I put it in the water and sat on it like a horse, leaving my top on.

I pushed my way over to Luke and he laughed at me struggling.

"You forgot to take your top off" he laughed.

"I didnt forget, I dont want to" I said looking down. Luke looked confused for a second and there was a really awkward moment. He erased the awkwardness by grabbing the whale and dragging me around.

He stopped at the side of the pool where my phone, drink and flip flops were a couple of metres away in a safe place. He came round to the side of the whale and took of my sunglasses,  placing them with my other property. He climbed back in the pool and pulled me away from the edge again.

"Luke why did you do that?" I asked confused.

"I didnt want them getting ruined when you go under" He replied.

"Im not going under ye-" I was cut off by luke going under and pushing the side of the whale so it flipped and I went under the water. I come back up with mascara all down my face. I pretended to be choking as luke stood there laughing. He stopped laughing and his expression changed to serious.

"shit are you okay?!" he swam over to me.

"Luke! I am popular, my hair has to be perfect and my makeup! now look at me!" I said trying to keep a straight face as luke stood there speechless.

"I-im sorry, I dunno what to say" he said looking guilty. I couldn't hold it in any longer, I burst out in a high pitch laugh. Luke laughed nervously and scratched the back of his neck confused.

"C-C-Come Here Y-You mong" I tried to say hugging him. He hugged me back.

BEAUS POV

"Oi Jai check this!" I shouted to Jai looking out the window. He came over and looked out smiling.

"Ay Lukes pulled!" I said.

"Yeh the most popular girl in the whole school" He said. I looked at him in shock.

"Really?!" I said and he nodded.
