Chapter ten: you're worth fighting for

Jellals POV
I sat in the Royal throne which was placed in the mist of everyone.

"The battle for the prince shall now commence!" The announcers called as trumpets sounded. I looked around at all the women who enter the ring, a certain flicker of scarlet catching my eye. It can't be... Erza?! What is she doing here? Fight f-for a k-kiss from me...? I blushed at the thought of her lips on mine.

"Your majesty are you okay? You look a little red," my guard spoke as he came closer to get a better look.

"I'm f-fine, aren't you supposed to stay in your place." Once the guard moved back into place the contestants came to get best wishes from me. One by one I wished them good luck, stopping once the red head stood in front. I sighed once I saw her face, her short red hair ending at the shoulders.

"Aren't you gonna wish me luck?" She mocked me as she brushed her hair out of her face.

"You hair... You cut it, wait why are you even here? Our magic doesn't work so you could get seriously hurt." Even though she was strong I didn't want her getting hurt for me, never again. Her smile faded as she moved in closer to me, our lips only millimetres apart.

"Some people are worth fighting for." With that she walked into the arena and got into battle stance. Oh Erza, if only you knew

Grays POV
Ugh my shoulder I groaned in my head as I sat up.

"Juvia why didn't you get me up, it's like 2:00 in the afternoon" I complained as I raked my hand trough my hair. With no response I looked around as I started to get worried.

"Juvia where are you?" I stood up to search for my missing friend.

"Juvia?!" I yelled as I started getting worried.

"Gray-sama?" Juvia spoke from the opening of the cave to my relief.

"Why the hell didn't you answer me?" I asked annoyed that she took so long to answer.

"Juvia was getting food for Gray-sama," she said as she passed me some fruit.

"Ah, thanks." Feeling bad for yelling I took a bite of the Apple Juvia had picked for me and invited her to sit down.

"Levy... She told me how we can get out, all we have to do is... Finish the story." I looked up at her in confusion with what she just said.

"Finish it?" I asked her as she put on a brave face.

"The big bad wolf must go into the grandmothers house and eat her, then wait for little red riding hood. Once little red riding hood gets there the wolf attacks her only to be killed by Red Riding hoods future husband, the huntsman." I stared in shock at Juvia, this story's is a lot more gruesome then I remember.

"Wait, huntsman?! That's!" I couldn't say then name, more like I didn't want to.

"Yes, Elliot." I shuddered at the thought of that prick laying his filthy hands on my girls body.

"There has to be another way," I said as I began to think of something to prevent this.

"Juvia has an idea."

Natsu POV
I watched the guy walk away as my eyes stared darts into the back of his skull. I felt Lucy push away from my grasp causing my eyes to avert to look into her watering eyes.

"Lucy? What's wrong?" I asked her concerned as I go to wipe away her tears, only to have her hand squat mine.

"You idiot, you think that I didn't forget what you said to Happy and I?! You threw us out!" She yelled before slapping my cheek.

"Lucy I..." I tried to explain but I had no excuse.

"That's what I thought," she whispered before walking away.
