That stupid bastard.

Hinata glared as Kageyama did a particularly excellent serve, the ball hitting his hand perfectly and zooming to the other side of the court, where Nishinoya unfortunately couldn't receive it. Stupid Bakageyama and his stupid perfect skills.

"Wow!" Daichi whistled from where he stood at the sidelines, along with the rest of the team to analyze Kageyama's new serve. "That was rather impressive." He smiled. The setter mumbled thanks, obviously flustered at the sudden attention.

"Yeah, you're definitely improving even more! I can barely receive those serves." Nishinoya offered, skipping across the court and under the net to give his kouhai a congratulatory back thump.

As the rest of the team walked on court to continue practice, Suga mentioned thoughtfully, "Exactly. You know, your serves are so strong they're practically spikes." He said. "Like...Oikawa's from Aoba Jousai."

Kageyama shrugged noncommittally, but the red at the tips of his ears gave him away. "Well, he did finally give in and gave me a tip or two on serving. So that helped."

By this point Tanaka had given up collecting stray volleyballs and joined the small group, clearly eavesdropping.

"Ah, wasn't he your senpai in junior high, Kageyama?"

"Yep, he was!" Nishinoya answered for him. "Like senpai like kouhai!" He giggled, elbowing his friend.

"I wonder what the King could've done to get Oikawa-San to teach him his legendary serves." Tsushima commented dryly, Yamaguchi following and sidling up next to him and besides Hinata, who was also listening on in interest. "Did you get on your knees and beg?"

Kageyama began to growl at him but was interrupted by Nishinoya's suggestive giggling and Tanaka saying, "Oh I bet he did a lot more than begging while on his knees for Oikawa."

By now, the whole team's attention was caught by the two second year's loud rambunctious laughter and Kageyama sputtering indignantly, his face a sweet shade of pink.

"Hey," Suga chided, his vice-captain instincts kicking in. "Knock it off, you three-"

Poor Suga was quickly ignored when the mentioned three began advancing on Kageyama, enjoying seeing him in such an unusual state of emotion.

"Aw, why are you so embarrassed, Kageyama-kun?" Tanaka teased, playfully ruffling his jet black hair. Nishinoya chuckled, circling his kouhai like a predator stalking their prey.

"Yeah! Tobio-chan~" he mimicked, snickering at the flush that nickname brought to the setter's face. "I bet you even used to have a little crush on Oikawa when he was your senpai right? You ask him to teach you to serve? Senpai~ How cute~"

The boys burst in laughter, obviously just messing around and joking about the 'crush'. Everybody could tell, even Ennoshita and Daichi had an exasperated smile on their face at how stupid Noya and Tanaka's antics at riling up Kageyama were. The only ones not laughing along were Hinata (surprisingly?) and...Kageyama.
