Chapter 16: I suck at lying.

Jessie's    P.O.V

I sat down at the sofa waiting for mum. After about 15 minutes the door slam and my mom com running to the living room. I got up from the couch and mum pulled in for a hug. Tears were streaming down her face and soon mine too. 

"Where were you Jessica? What happened? We we're so worried for you!" She cried as she pulled away to face me. What should i say? I was crying too. 

"Mom.. i- i i'm ashamed to say this, but i got drunk." i answered. I didn't got time to think it over clearly. Did i just say that!? 

"What?" was all that slipped out her mouth. She seemed a bit shocked.

"Jessica, you we're gone for 3 days!" Her mood started to get a little bit angry turning. I shouldn't have said that. 

"I should call you... but my phone we're gone. And i was with some cool people. They wanted me to stay so i just stayed until i realized i needed to get home." I realized how idiotic this sounded. She is never gonna believe this, and if she does i'm in so much trouble. I'm suck at telling lies. Worst lie ever. 

"Jessica Cornish! You didn't even knew this people and you just went with them!? And you got drunk?! Do you know how dangerous that is in your condition? How much did you drink?" She was really mad right now. I barley drank anything and now i'll have to say i drank pretty much since i got 'drunk'. 

"Uh... much?" I was kind a scared for what she was going to say. I knew i had an irregular heartbeat, that's why i don't drink much. And i am only 16 so i shouldn't drink!

"I'm really disappointed of you Jessica! Tomorrow we are going to the doctor and check on you so we are sure there's nothing wrong. But you are grounded!" She said strictly as she left me and went to the kitchen. I was going to the doctor too! This sucks. I hate lying. I should probably call Holly. I went upstairs to my room and took out my phone to call her. I was a bit nervous since the last time we talked we had a rough fight. But i couldn't resist not talking to her anymore. 

"JESSIE!??!" She screamed very hopefull to get an answer by me. 

"Hi Holly!" I replied.

"JESS! Are you alright? Are you home? I haven't heard anything! Where did you go? Jessie?!" She kept asking loads of questions. She was very worried and frustrated. I was a bit happy that she cared so much. 

"Yeah Holly relax i'm fine. Um.. i wondered if you maybe wanted me to come over so we could talk? I don't know.." I asked a bit worried she may remember the party.. she probably didn't care of it anymore. Hopefully. We always sort things out. 

"No no!! Stay inside, i'll come over right now! 5 minutes!" She said before hunging up. I usually didn't get to answer before the line was dead. I just stared at the black screen on my phone for a few minutes. I didn't got the time to shower before Holly got over anyway so i just changed clothes and washed my face. When i was done i heard the door slam downstairs and she was greedted from mom while she was running upstairs. They said something too, but i don't know what. She came running inside and cried when she saw me before hugging me tight. Ah i love these hugs. Holly hugs. After hugging and crying for a while Holly started to speak.

"Tell me everything! Where were you? What happened?" It was having the same convo. as with my mom. I explained everything. She wasn't that angry just shocked. 

"Oh Jessie! Promise me you'll never do that again! But i also apologize for being so rough to you with the Danny- stuff. I shouldn't have being so 'dramaqueen'." She sighed. Everything felt so much better. To know your bestfriend isn't mad at you anymore. I'm lucky to get so easy forgiven. Even though it all was my fault. 

"Don't apologize. Everything is OK now and that's all that really matters." i said giving her a hug. I knew everything wasn't OK though. But i didn't want to worry her again. Or my mom. I soon realized i had very short time. I was supposed to get 1 million dollars with in 10 days. I don't even have a plan. Me and Holly sat the evening talking until it was getting late and she was heading home. It was Tuesday and school tomorrow. I didn't feel like going to school with all that had just happened but i had to so. I went for a shower after Holly left and took on my Pajamas afterwards and hit the bed. Finally i could have a good night sleep.

HIYA, beautiful readers! How was your day? :) Well so i just did this chapter now.. it was actually  a bit difficult to write it i confess, but i got through and hopefully it isn't that bad. I was reading through it a few times and thinking to change up and i did many times but i'm really tierd so it just ended up like diaas. Thanks for reading and please vote if you liked!
