“Becky! You’re so pretty how is that even possible??” I said to my cousin.

“Awe, Cher! You’re by far the prettiest girl I know!” she shot back.

I know I’m not the pretty one; in fact, I’m not pretty at all. Becky has long black hair and an amazing style. She’s a looker. Then there’s me. I’m short, I have long brown hair. And I’m not a looker. Compared to Becky, I’m nothing. Making me walk next to her, is like making a Super Model walk next to a hobo. She has a boyfriend where she lives, which is back in L.A, I know right, she’s perfect! So living in L.A means she has a nice tan and always has stuff to do! I live in Dublin. It’s cold and boring and I completely hate it here. To make matters worse, I’m from a little place called Malvern, which means I’m BRITISH! I’m not Irish at all. Gross.

“Cher we have some big news!” Becky said jumping up and down. My mum had a huge smile on her face to.

“YOU’RE COMING TO L.A WITH ME!” Becky screamed.

‘What?!” I said, am I really going to L.A?!?!

“Yes!!! We’re leaving tomorrow!!!!!!! Go pack!” She said pushing me over towards the stairs.

Wow, somehow my life just got a hell of a lot better!

“Cher, wake up!” I heard someone say, and then I felt them poke my face.

“No, don’t wake her up yet! She’ll be mean!” I heard someone else say.

I popped my head up to see Becky and some guy. “Who are you?” I said, looking at the guy that was sitting on my bed.

“Austin.” He replied.

“Austin?” I said asked.

“Cher this is Austin, my boyfriend.” Becky explain.

“Oh, I see.” I replied, then laid back into bed and fell back asleep.
