Chapter 15: Asterous Christmas

I walked into the cave, several Christmas presents were piled up in my arms. We had two hours for the annual heroes Christmas party. The entire league and team were going to be there, including Artemis and Wally, and Jade and Roy. Jade and Roy were bringing Lian and I was stoked! I loved spoiling that girl.

"I'm here!" I yelled over the loud music and talking. Wally sped past me in a yellow blur, taking his and Artemis's gifts. I rolled my eyes, I guess you could open gifts at any time then.

I handed out the rest of the gifts I had, I only had to find Roy and Jade to give them theirs. They were crouched down holding Lian's hands to help her walk around the small area. Lian was giggling and bouncing up and down excitedly, she was adorable.

"Hey guys, I just wanted to give you your gift." I smiled handing them their box, inside was a bunch of infant/toddler stuff. My eyes traveled to Lian, a grin spreading across my face, "And steal your baby, may I?"

Roy passed Lian's hands to me, I held her up, squeezing her tiny hands. She was still small, but bigger than she was when I fist held her. She looked up at me and started bouncing again, she let out a cute baby giggle.

"Auntie!" She squealed, I almost melted. She was too adorable.

"I want one," I sighed, then looked up at Roy and Jade who were giving me a weird look, "Not now of course. Later."

I gave Lian back to her parents. Leaving to find Artemis and Wally. They weren't too hard to find since Artemis was around 3 and a half months pregnant. Last week she had gotten an ultrasound. I really wanted to know if it was going to be a boy or a girl, I was going to be an auntie again and I wanted to know if I was going to have a niece or a nephew.

"Enjoy the present?" I asked with a smile.

"Yeah actually. A mini bow for the baby, cute." Artemis nodded, putting a hand on her stomach.

"So do you know what the baby is?" I asked excitedly.

"Yeah actually, it's going to be a boy!" Wally announced. I squealed clapping my hands.

"Any name ideas?" I questioned.

"Actually-"

"Wally, we are not naming our child Wallace Jr.!" Artemis insisted cutting him off. I laughed and said bye before walking over to M'gann and Conner, that hadn't gotten married yet, but one can hope, they were another OTP of the team and league, we really liked shipping each other.

"Hey you two!" I greeted, walking over, "How's the happy couple?"

"Well," M'gann glanced at Superboy and he nodded to her, a smile on his face, "Conner proposed yesterday!"

M'gann showed me her ring and I screamed happily hugging her. We hugged and she leaned in closer to me, her voice a mere whisper.

"Not only that but...I'm pregnant."

Conner's eyes widened, that's right, superhearing. M'gann was an evil genius. This was the perfect way to tell him. Easier than coming up with a creative idea too.

""You're what?"

"I'll just let you two talk."

I walked away from the two, man, everyone was getting married and having kids. All of this made me want to be 3 years older. Dick and I could be married, have kids, a white picket fence, apple pie life. I guess things couldn't be that way for now.

"Guess who?" Someone covered my eyes from behind me.

"Dick," I smiled. I turned around and handed him his present. "This is like a late birthday present too."

He opened the box and grinned, pulling out an original Flying Grayson's autographed poster. It took me a long time to find it. He had tons of flying Grayson stuff, but I had been in his room enough to know that the one thing he didn't have was a signed poster, even if one of the signatures was himself.

"How did you find this?"

"I have my ways," I smiled slyly, I had to pull a lot of strings, good thing I had connections. Dick pulled out a small box out of his pocket. I gave him a look before slowly box. I let out a gasp, pulling a rose ring out of the jewelry box.

"Again with the roses," I chuckled slipping the ring onto my necklace's chain instead of my finger, I didn't want it to fall off.

"Merry Asterous Christmas."

"And a whelmed New Years"
