*Atiana's POV*

I was running through the woods then decided to climb a tree and rest for a little while. I tried to camouflaged myself with the leaves and branches around me. I could hear the snaps from branches and leaves cracking meaning someone or something coming near. I could hear my heart rate increasing with each step.

The footsteps come to a stop in front of me. I looked down to see a person looking around searching for something or someone. To my surprise this person was a women with blue and red markings around her face and body. She was slim and toned with long thick black hair that went to the middle of her back. she had her hair in two braids.

She turned around and looked straight at me. I noticed her eyes were the color of mix of gold and honey brown. She said something but I didn't understand what she was saying. Then she grabbed her bow and arrow from her bag that she was carrying on her back. She said something before letting go of the arrow.

I woke up breathing heavily and covered in sweat. I rubbed my face trying to take some of the sweat off. I got up, since sleep wont be coming anytime soon, did my daily routine. The clock read 3:30 a.am. by the time I got to the kitchen. I heard my dad's bedroom door open then close.

"Your up early." He said in a sleepy voice.

"Well good morning to you too." I said a little annoyed.

"Sorry sweetheart good morning" He said while making his cup of coffee.

"Why are you up this early?" He asked curiously.

"I...hmm.. couldn't sleep anymore." I said clearing my voice.

"So what happen last night between you and Jacob? He asked putting his cup down on the counter and crossed his arms looking at me waiting for my answer.

"Nothing why?" I said too quickly.

"last night you came into my room stopping like a five year old girl throwing a tantrum." He said trying not to laugh at the way she stopped her feet.

"Oh ugh Jason pulled a prank and laughed at me." I said half honestly.

"I just wish there was way to get back at him." I said while sitting at the table with some coffee.

"if you want I can help you." he said with a evil smirk.

"I would really appreciate it!" I said excited. I tried to think something up but all it did was give me a headache.

"go in my room under my side table there's a hole. Put your finger in it and pull to the left. There will be a black book, a gold necklace and ring. This will help you. but promise not put the jewelry on just yet." He said the last part with warning.

"I promise and thanks dad." I said before heading to his room.

I went to his room and did as told. There was the black book with my name written in gold letters along with the jewelry. The stones that were in the jewelry captivated me the more then the book. The necklace had one stone in the middle with a grey color on one side and the other side of the stone was gold. The ring was the same as the necklace and inside each of them had my name engraved. I should asked my dad more about the jewelry.

I started to head back to the kitchen when I heard Jacob snoring away in my room. So I decided to record him with my phone. I tried my hardest not to laugh at the way he was snoring. I left before he woke up.

"Here is the book, now what?" I asked confused about the book and jewelry.

"Look the book and there will be a spell that you might like to try on Jacob." He said with the same evil smirk from minutes ago.
