Mist
Mist is all around.
Cloaking the mint green trees
in shrouds of vapour
and pixelised leaves
programmed to fall at precise
irregular intervals.
Lily pads, floating
on a secret lake of LEDs,
surrounded by synthetic
strands of dew damp grass.
A throbbing heart and a half
dragging away fingers
Select.
Save
Quit.
Uncurl from a cramped chrysalis,
to find the musky car is
surrounded by blobs of rain
and peppered with drizzle.
