There are many different people at Tyler's school. For an example, you got Brendon. He is that annoying kid who hates when people keep any door open for more than 10 seconds. He also has a huge forehead that always had stickers on it.
There was also Ashley, also known as Halsey. She hated her name so she switched some letters around. She always dyed her hair a different shade of blue every week and has dated nearly all the bi and lesbian girls in their grade.
And nobody could forget Melanie. She was basically that "pastel goth." All she wore was pastel colors and baby clothes and every month, she'd dye her hair a different color. She always changed her nose piercings too.
But then, Tyler. He was that gay guy that had a fan Instagram account for My Chemical Romance, of course his favorite band. Tyler always wore rainbow everything and even had a gay shirt he stole from Brendon.
But, this was a start of a new school year. New changes and new possibilities, and when its over, it is over.

The bell rang so loud that I thought I was going to be deaf. Hal ran off to her first class, which was Algebra. I don't know why she would ever take that class, but I guess its what she liked. I didn't see that Brendon left for his first class, Art. I knew he loved drawing and letting his creativity out so it makes sense. Suddenly, I felt a pull at my black t-shirt.
"Lets go Tyjo." It was Melanie. She gave me that nickname back in 1st grade when she first moved to Ohio and it just stuck. Her outfit was simple for the first day of school: just a pastel pink dress with cat tights and some pastel pink platform shoes. Half of hear head was white and the other half black, for the month of September. In her hear, were two pastel pink bows on each side.
Our first class was gym with Mr. Hicks. Hal had him last year and she said he was a pervert. So exciting. Not. I rolled my eyes at Mel and headed off to the North Gym.
In our school, there were 6 gyms: North Gym, Northwest Gym, West Gym, South Gym, Upper Gym, and East Gym. Of course, they were at the end of the school but the Upper Gym was in the center on the second floor, which where the ninth and tenth graders are.
"Fine." I murmured under my breath, but I guess Mel could hear me since she pulled my arm and ran off to the boys locker room door. Then, she ran across the hallway and into the girls locker room. I stared at the girls door but finally walked into the boys. I walked around and saw all the boys either changing or already dressed.
Then, I spotted one of the gym teachers. It was Mr. Fisher, the best gym teacher ever! I had him last year and he is the only reason I went to school. I called his name out and asked for an open locker.
"Yes Mr. Joseph. You can use the one over there." He pointed to a locker right in the middle of an area. I nodded a 'thank you' and ran over there. I already had the gym uniform in my backpack so I didn't have to buy one right there. I open it up and plopped my backpack down and grabbed the uniform.
As I was taking my shirt off, I saw someone come into the room. He only caught my eye because of his pink hair. It was so bright! My parents would never let me dye my hair like that. He spoke to Mr. Fisher until he walked over to me. He opened the locker right next to mine.
We both changed but I finished before him. Finally, the gym bell rang and everyone left out to their gym classes. I headed to the North Gym until something tackled me. It was Melanie. She smirked as we both got up and ran off. I chased her, laughing a little bit. I haven't been this happy since I went to a large waterpark with Brendon, Hal, and Mel.
I finally caught up to her when we got into the gym. I saw Mr. Hicks going through papers near the back of the gym. While I looked around, I saw that guy with pink hair.
"He must be in this class too..." I thought while staring at him. Finally, our teacher blew the whistle. Oh my god, it was so loud, I actually thought I was deaf for a few seconds.
"Okay, for the first gym class, I will be making your "groups" so its easier to tell who is here everyday." Mr Hicks started. "First right here, (he points to the ground) is Miranda." A red-head rolled her eyes and sat down.
Miranda was always in my gym class. We were... kinda friends. We never talked but I do follow her on Instagram.
"Behind Miranda is Tyrone. Then Aaliyah. After her, is James. And last in the row is Melanie." Melanie let out a sigh and sat down at the end. Gym teachers normally made me sit in front of behind Melanie but I guess Mr. Hicks doesn't trust us.
After a little while of making groups, I finally heard my name.
"Tyler, you're behind Josh." I gulped as I saw the pink hair guy. His name was Josh? It's a sweet name.
I sat down behind him. He seemed to not notice I was there. Dammit.
When Mr. Hicks finished the groups, he blew his loud whistle again.
"Okay. Instead of actually playing basketball today," he glared at me. I know Mr. Hicks knows I'm pretty good at playing basketball. God, he hates me. "We're gonna be introducing ourselves since we have probably never met anyone here. Miranda, you can start."
Miranda went but I didn't hear anything. I just stared at Josh's hair. It looked like cotton candy, I just wanted to eat it!
I heard him call on Melanie and I needed to hear what she would say.
"I'm Melanie and I love baby dolls. I have a fetish for them... It's gonna creepy now. Oh and Tyler is my best friend." I glared at her but Josh turned around and looked at me. I looked back but for not even a second.
I wasn't paying attention until I heard Josh's name. I sat up and locked my eyes on him, even if his back was in front of me.
"Well, I'm Josh. I play the drums... and I just moved here from Cleveland." Josh smiled brightly. Mr. Hicks nodded, and once actually smiled. I have NEVER seen Mr. Hicks smile in my life.
"Tyler?" He glared at me. I was sweating but got the courage to speak out.
"I'm Tyler..." I began. "I like singing and I have an obsession for Stranger Things." I thought of something. "Oh, and I'm best friends with Melanie." I looked over at her and smiled.
~~~~~~
After gym class, I really didn't wanna do anything. I only had a salad at lunch and talked to Hal about Patrick, that extremely goth kid in our grade who had a crush on Hal. To be honest, I'd kill anyone how likes her. Yep, I love Hal to death.
When the final bell rang, I was so happy to be out of the school. I only have gym and drama with Josh, which is only 2 hours of school with him. I guess this is the start of a good year.
"I will become friends with Josh." I told myself while walking home in the heat. "Maybe more. But lets stick to friends."
