After Alex got out of the hospital, I drove him to his place.
It was a quiet ride.
I stopped to grab some Chinese food.
Can I say, I REALLY REALLY LOVE CHINESE FOOD.
The place was slow. As in business was slow.
I ordered some chicken lomein and fried chicken.
"Your order total is $10.46."
"Here you go."
I sat down in the waiting chairs.
Decided to go on Instagram.
Nope, decided to go on the Redbox website.
I saw that the One Direction This Is Us movie is out.
Yeah I kinda freaked out at the resturant.
"OMG!"
I saw that the Chinese lady was looking at me weird.
"Haha sorry."
I'm a true Directioner and a Mahomie and lots of other things.
I saw that the Conjuring was on too.
It's kinda like a movie night.
I forgot about Alex in the car.
"Oh shit." I mumbled under my breathe.
I forgot to order Alex some food.
I went up to the counter.
"Hey, um, I forgot to order my friend some food. Can I have the same order as the other order?"
She seemed to be mad at me.
But she concealed it under her dull and boring face.
"Yeah sure. It will be $10.46."
I paid and sat back on.
I went on my phone and reserved the Redbox DVDs.
After a long time of waitng, I headed back to the car.
"Heeey, wuuutt toook you sooo lonng?" Alex slurred.
I guess Alex is still under that stuff the doctors gave him.
"I ordered MY food, but I forgot to order your food."
"You didn't have to get me anything."
"It's okay."
I started the engine of the car.
Drunk in Love was on. (It's by Beyoncé if you didn't know that.)
"We be all night, love, lovee." I sang under my breathe.
Alex was watching me.
"What?"
"I like your singing."
I blushed. I looked away.
I, or we, are finally at Walgreens.
I tapped a few buttons and the DVDs came out.
"Hey, what are we watching?" Alex asked.
"We?"
"Yeah. Why, you don't wanna watch with me?"
"I just didn't know I was staying at your place."
"You really wanna go back to Austin while he's at his physo phase?"
I laughed at that.
"Yeah, I guess not."
